Do you want to build a snowman … gingerbread display? Chef Jeff Barnes and his pastry team at Disney’s Contemporary Resort have done just that. This year’s spectacular display combines two beloved Disney stories — “Frozen” and “it’s a small world.”
Want a behind-the-scenes look at how the “cool” gingerbread display was created? Check out the video below!
While you’re taking in the majesty of this whimsical confectionary creation, take home a “taste” of the magic with specialty cookies, blue raspberry-cake gelato, ornaments and “Frozen” merchandise.
Some cookies are worth melting for!

We saw this last week. Rode the monorail to Contemporary just for fun. I had seen this video, but was surprised when we walked around the corner to see this. Kids loved looking for the tiny silver Olafs “painted” all over the display. Fun bit of Disney Magic memory!
What a wonderful memory! 🙂
This came out awesome, though it would have been cool if they added some special effects to it. For example having it snow powered sugar would have been a nice addition! Also really cool to get a glimpse of how the magic at Disney is done, hoping to see more if/when I get my internship there this summer!!!!!!
This looks great! I also love the hidden mickey buttons on the gingerbread people. A nice touch!
