Last summer, my son (and the rest of the world) discovered Disney Tsum Tsum. I recall we were on vacation in Ohio when he asked to download the fun puzzle matching and stacking game. Upon returning to Florida, he found the adorable stacking plush offered both at Disney Stores and in select locations at Disney Parks. Our friends at Oh My Disney even celebrated their arrival with a visit to Disneyland park (as seen in this article). I recently asked Victoria Hamilton, merchandiser for dolls and plush at Disney Theme Park Merchandise, about the best places to find Tsum Tsum when visiting Disney Parks.

“There are currently two different locations that offer Tsum Tsum,” explained Victoria. “Guests in California should stop by the plush room inside World of Disney at Downtown Disney District. For guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort, they should visit Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney Marketplace. These two locations carry an assortment of four-inch plush and a handful of the larger sized plush.”

She also told me that they will continue carrying select Tsum Tsum after they are released at Disney Stores. For example, guests will find the “101 Dalmatians” mini Tsum Tsum plush collection in early February at Disney Parks. This collection was first released at Disney Stores and online in early January.

In related news, the Disney Pin Team will release a collectible pin pack featuring Tsum Tsum later this year. Each pack will contain five randomly selected pins. I grabbed a handful of pins to photograph for this story including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit!

In addition to the two different locations at Disney Parks, you can find select Tsum Tsum products online at http://www.DisneyStore.com/TsumTsum.

Happy stacking!

  • These are so cute! I saw one the t-shirt designs that there is a Bambi design. I hope the Bambi Tsum Tsum will be available soon because I really want one! 🙂

  • OMG AN OSWALD TSUM TSUM PIN!!!! My boyfriend got my the oswald medium sized plush from Japan for Christmas!! He’s so cute with his floppy ears 😀

  • It’s too bad the parks aren’t offering any unique Tsums… All of these are available to me locally. I was really hoping they would have something different from the US Disney Store selection. Either way, they’re incredibly cute!

  • Steven,

Would you be able to give me the SKU for the dated 2015 glass snowglobe? Merchandise Guest Services can only find the plastic one, but I know the glass one is available now, as I’ve seen pictures of it on store shelves. Thanks!!!

    • @Jonathan – Here is the item number (I think) – 400008897594.

  • I have just four words:

    Maleficent Mini Tsum Tsum

    Please make it happen!

    (OK, that was 8 words…). 😉

  • Danielle: The other day as I was walking thru the souvenir shop for “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” ride, I saw they had Tsum Tsum Winnie the Pooh characters there.
    Hope this helps…?

    • @John – I’m confirming with the planning and development teams. I confirmed with the planning, development and operations team. The shop at Magic Kingdom Park does not carry those Tsum Tsum. The only locations at Disney Parks that currently carry Tsum Tsum are in the respective Downtown Disney areas as mentioned above. The merchandising inventory system doesn’t show Winnie the Pooh and Friends at that location you mentioned. I know they are currently sold online as well: http://www.disneystore.com/pooh-and-pals-tsum-tsum-mini-plush-collection/mp/1359513/1000267/

  • Hi Steve,

Any word on when the next Piece of Spectromagic History pins will be released? (And what floats/characters they are?)

    Thanks for all your updates!

  • There are so many great characters at some of the other parks around the world. Will we be seeing any of those in the US anytime soon?

    • @Ashley – If I get any details about new things, I’m sure there will be a Disney Parks Blog article about it. 🙂

  • Steven,

Will you be doing a future article on the Beauty & the Beast merchandise you said was planned?

    • @Michael – I don’t currently have a specific Beauty and the Beast merchandise article planned. I will continue to incorporate things as I find them in various articles. I think you will be excited for one item in particular. I just have to find the “time” to write about it 🙂

  • Will the pins be available at the disney store? Or on-line? Or just in the parks?

    • @Pat – They were created for Disney Parks and will be carried in various merchandise locations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. I’ve not received final confirmation on release dates or locations at this time.

  • Are there going to be any rapunzel tsum tsums? I know in the game, which these are originally from, there was a rapunzel and pascal. They are my favorite characters! I’d love them in a tsum tsum! thanks.

    • @Meg – I don’t recall seeing any development. Sorry.

  • Finally!!!!!! Bought these at Toyko Disney ages ago. I’ve been wanting more!!!

  • During the #DopeyChallenge, #runDisney #WDWMarathon weekend, the best place to find my Dopey Tsum Tsum was safety pinned onto my running belt! He and hugging magnet plush Duffy ran all four races with me! It is good to have dear friends close to you when you are tackling so many miles!

Where do you take your Tsum Tsum’s Steven?

    Erin

    • @Erin – That’s great! They are pretty portable. Congratulations on completing the race. That is quite an accomplishment. While my son has the majority of Disney Tsum Tsum in my home, I have one in my truck. It’s Pluto since that’s about as close to getting a dog as I can get right now. I’m more of a cat person. Ha! 🙂

  • Hi Steven,

When Tsum Tsum first released in the US there were a few small plush that came out with the first wave: Bambi, Figaro, Goofy, and Lady. Any word on if these will have a re-release in Disney Stores or online?

    Thank you!
    Sarah

    • @Sarah – I have not heard of any plans to release those again.

  • When are we going to see the Tsum Tsum pins? Will they be at Disneyland and Walt Disney World?

    • @Kelly – I don’t have a confirmed release date; I know they will be released later this year. They will be carried in multiple merchandise locations at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.

  • The tsum tsums are ridiculously addictive. I’ve been to the Tokyo Disney Stores twice in the last three months and the collection of merchandise available there each time is mind boggling. I tried to take pictures of everything last week. And, Hong Kong has Duffy and Shellie May ones that I had to buy when they came out — wish they were in the game! 🙂

  • They are so cute and cuddley.Keep making them.I already have Mickey and Minnie. But on the game I have Mickey Alien and Dale.

  • Do you know when Tinker Bell is coming out because she’s really cute! And my cousin Catlyin really loves Mikey and Minnie!!!

  • Hi when will the tsum tsum pins be out in the parks? I visit the disneyland resort every sunday and I keep looking and asking all the castmembers and some do not even know what tsum tsum is.
