Beginning tomorrow, Disneyland park guests will have the chance to stroll down memory lane when “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks returns. This classic Disney Parks nighttime spectacular began lighting up the sky above Sleeping Beauty Castle in 1958, and was last seen in regular performances 2004 – later to be seen in special showings on New Year’s Eve. It has also been featured at Disneyland Paris and Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort.
“Fantasy in the Sky” returns tomorrow night with its familiar soundtrack, featuring classic Disney tunes, and an all-new fireworks program. Come see this Disney Parks favorite soon, because it will only be presented for a limited time. We’re very excited about everything to come in 2015 … stay tuned for more updates!

No Tinkerbell, no Dumbo, but it’s limited. Anything special about Fantasy In The Sky?
Will the Fantasy in the Sky be lighting up the sky by May 18, 2015?
I’ve heard this new fireworks schedule is in celebration of DL’s 60th….when will Disney be releasing dates directly related to the 60th celebration? i.e. crystal castle start date, official kick off, etc. I am trying to plan 2 trips this year but Spring 2015 is really vague, especially as a DVC member and you have to book way in advance. Thanks!
Are you saying Disneyland doesn’t have FIREWORKS at night anymore????? That would be a SERIOUS DOWNER for this 63 yr old, IF I EVER made it back there, which is MY LAST BUCKET LIST ITEM!
Will they be using the same show they use on the New Year’s Eve?
No – The soundtrack will be the same, but the fireworks program is all new.
Will Tinkerbell be flying that the olden days??
Sorry – Tinker Bell will not be appearing.
will they be using the “original” soundtrack or the one that was updated in 1995?
It will be the most recent version of the soundtrack.
