  • We went in the end of Janurary and the kids loved to wait in line at Peter Pan. In fact they were disappointed the time we had the fast pass and did not go through the kids rooms. One ever so picky detail disappointment was that Wendy’s dresser did not have the music box from the movie that is also then in the Tinkerbell movie. Kids notice those things as well as adults and Disney is usually solo attention to detail that it surprised me.

  • I went through he new queue yesterday- It was really great! Looking forward to another air conditioned queue during the summer months!

The new Peter Pan queue is definitely worth passing up a fast pass and experiencing.

  • Thanks for confirming that the queue is wheelchair accessible! We usually fast pass it as I can’t stand in the hour+line. It’s great that if I bring my chair, I can experience the interactive queue! So excited!

  • I’m super excited to see this in September! This is one of my favorite rides but it goes so fast (wished they would slow it down just a little bit)! I am happy that they are giving people something to enjoy as they wait. Since I am a little obsessed with Tinkerbell, the fact that you will be able to see her fly around makes me extremely happy 🙂

  • I’ll be there in September! I’ll check it out!

  • Looks simply amazing. We can’t wait to give it a try!

    • I hope you enjoy it, Thomas.

  • We will be there in less then 50days! I hope its ready by then. Cant wait!!!

    • I hope you enjoy it, Marie. Be sure to take your time and look for special effects and little surprises.

  • My favorite, favorite, favorite ride at Disney! I cannot wait to share it with my 3 nephews and son at their first Disney experience in just 16 days! 🙂

  • This ride is at the top of my -must-do- rides when we arrive in April!

  • will this be set up before this march?

    • It will open very soon – please stay tuned!

  • I can’t wait to see how Disney makes my shadow come alive. This ride is always a “must ride” when I go, but will be so even more this time!

    • It’s VERY cool. My jaw dropped when I experienced it for the first time. I can’t wait to go back.

  • This will be so magical for the kids. This was my late brothers favorite ride at Disney World. I haven’t been since 93′ and I am looking forward to taking my girls on this magical adventure this September!

  • The children are going to love this new attraction. I admire the way Disney keeps their parks interesting!

    • It will make YOU feel like a kid again, too!

  • Wa hoo! I can’t wait to see this. I finally got to bring my wife through the cue at Pooh and she thought it was so cute. now we get to play before another great ride.

  • I hope there are plans for Disneyland to get more interactive queues too. Especially for the rides like Peter Pan that don’t have fast passes and usually have a long line.

  • Looks great!! Were any props taken from the now closed neverland club at the Polynesian??

  • I hope it’s open in April! It’d be a good side to us having to delay & reschedule our vacation due to a couple people in our family coming down with the Flu.

  • Oh, seeing your shadow come alive sounds entertaining and fun! I can’t wait to see how that is done. Tink playing with the nursery toys also sounds very cute!

  • Love this attraction. It’s one of our favorites!

    • It’s one of my favorites, too. I hope you enjoy the changes!

  • I love the idea of becoming part of the story before we even get to the ride. Looking forward to seeing this in May!

  • I have already seen the new Queue. Why are you saying it is yet to open? I’m confused….

  • With the changes to this queue, is it now wheelchair accessible?

    • Yes! We just confirmed it is wheelchair accessible!

  • Will the ride itself be getting any updates, such as replacing the stiff characters with more modern animatronics like the ones in the Little Mermaid ride?

  • I hope the new queue is wheelchair/ECV accessible.

    • It is!

  • Do you think this awesome queue will be open before Jan 26th? I am really excited to see it!

    • It will be open soon, stay tuned for more details!!

  • I love that Disney is sprucing up the queues. Should make the wait less stressful and more fun. I was actually a little upset that we had fast passes for the Mine Train over Christmas. I really wanted to see the queue, but I’m not going to wait 2+ hours for it. Maybe some other time if I can get there during the off season.

    • It will be hard not to stop and marvel at the charming detail and the fun effects the Imagineers have planned in this one. It’s simply amazing. I really do hope you check it out.

  • Great! We can’t wait to check it out on our next trip in Febuary. – The Disney Pin Princess

    • 🙂

  • We’re planning our trip for May now and I was definitely going to get a FastPass for this ride, but now I think we’ll just try to get to the ride when the park opens to enjoy the interactive queue. Never thought I’d look forward to standing in line! That’s Disney magic for you!

    • You have to check it out for sure, Rebecca! The technology used here is amazing.

  • This is exciting and is a nice way to update some of the classic rides.

  • Hi Jennifer,

As always, Disney Imagineers create the best possible guest experiences and I cannot wait to experience this when it’s finished!

    Thank you for sharing,
    Jackie

  • It looks like they’ve done a wonderful job and I can’t wait to see it in person
