What a beautiful picture. Sure wish they would bring back the Leave a Legacy program. So much space still left on those monoliths.
I remember when this program first started. My wife and I were newlyweds, honeymooning at Disney and decided to buy into the program. But when the process started and we had to fill out all the paperwork to do it, we stopped bc we were late for a show we wanted to see. We joke every time we go to Epcot about the little picture of us on one of those monoliths that “isn’t”. But at the same time, we wished we had followed through with it. How about this proposition, Jennifer? You guys bring back the program, and we’ll follow through and actually do it this time. We’re coming up on our 20th wedding anniversary and that would be a great surprise for my wife. What do you say??? Pull some strings???
My husband and I went to WDW for our honeymoon in 2001. We participated in Leave A Legacy then and were so excited when we returned to Epcot in 2011 for our 10 year wedding anniversary and saw our legacy for the first time on the monoliths. It was such a wonderful way to commemorate a very special day. We look forward to returning next year for our 15th wedding anniversary and revisiting our legacy.
Does anyone currently know how to get info. as to the location of your picture if you’ve misplaced your locator card??
I loved reading Jeffery and Angela’s comments! My husband and I honeymooned in Disney in 2001 too! Our pic is on there, and we’ve been back several times (including our 10 year anniversary) and it’s the first thing we look for when we go to Epcot. Judi, if you go into the camera store right at the base of Spaceship Earth, they can look up your location.
Thank you Disney for creating this wonderful Leave A Legacy program! My daughter Emily and I signed up 10 years ago to leave our legacy when she was 11 years old. We came back to Epcot last night to celebrate her 21st birthday and got to see our legacy picture in front of Spaceship Earth. Such a sweet and special gift for us! Thank you very much!!
