  • Guys, if you did not get the package or dining you wanted originally, don’t give up. I booked one of the packages the day after these opened and everything for the Deluxe packages was booked for our weekend. I did get a Premium Package. But, I have called every day since then trying to see if a Deluxe Package opened up. This morning when I called, a Deluxe Package had opened up for one of the days we are there. We leave in 2 days. So, the moral of the story is, don’t give up until you are out of days. You may not get it, but you might just happen to call or try it online when someone else gives their reservation up.

  • I’m so sad as everything is booked. The Character breakfast at Sci Fi, Feel the force package, and the other Star Wars dinner at Old Vine. Does anyone have any other suggestions as I am trying to make this amazing for my very eager 4 and 6 year old whom LOVE Star Wars. Not to mention their Father. 😉 Thanks so much for any advice whatsoever.

  • Hi Patricia. I was able to access my FP+ for the shows on Saturday. Good luck 🙂

  • Hello Rachel. So excited to visit during SWW. This is a first for how family and both girls are crazy about Star Wars. Our family purchased the Feel the Force package despite past customer reviews stating that the fireworks viewing from the dessert party was poor due to being blocked by the stage. Is this still the case or has Disney addressed the poor visibility?

Looking forward to our visit and you reply!

  • Since the Deluxe packages are sold out, I’m trying to make a FPP for one of the shows on June 14th. This is the only weekend, however, that has no times listed for any of the shows. I’ve tried calling the Disney number a few times and each response is different. One rep didn’t know why, one said all the FPP were gone and another one said there are no FPP being offered yet for those dates but didn’t know why. Is anyone else having trouble with this weekend? Any idea if there will be any FPP available for this weekend? Thanks for any help!!

  • Can you please tell me where we will be sitting/standing to watch the parade and also the location we will be at for the desert party along with the fire works? trying to plan this all out with out party, we have the premium package ($69 per adult)
    Thank you!

  • Is the Premium Package motorcade viewing area shaded?

  • Liliana. Do the fast pass option for that celebrity talk event.

  • Hi, I’m was not able to get the Deluxe package for May 17 (sold out ?) and I really want to see one specific celebrity on that day. Any idea of how soon should I get in line to be able to check in at 10 AM and get the ticket for that specific show? Thanks.

  • So excited for these events this year! We’re celebrating our younglings Birthday, and he LOVES Star Wars. Thanks for the ability to attend the things that I feel like he’ll love, and not have to fight crazy crowds to do them!

  • @Debbie, what was told was (and note, I am NOT anything other than a fellow Disney/Star Wars nut trying to plan my trip):

    1. Does VIP have separate or shared seating for shows?
For the two shows that occur during the tour (before 4), best seats in the house, other than family members of the celebs. Last year they were amazing. For the shows after the tour ends, I was told we would get fast passes.

    2. Does VIP have separate or shared parade viewing?
Separate, (and I think we may have seats for that one)

Not sure enough about the others to answer, so I won’t speculate, but I can tell you how it went last year. Note that I have no idea what they have planned for this year, it may be different so understand that your mileage may vary.

Lunch was at Mama Melrose’s, and was a really good meal (no desert, as we had snacks like ice cream all day, and the desert party was ridiculous with sweets!). Access to Darth’s Mall was just before it opened to the public. So if you knew what you want, you could beat the crowds completely. People started to come in fairly soon after, so we did have to wait in line for a cashier. There was when we had our picture taken as well…

Our group last year was like 8 people, and the cap wasn’t that high at all. For all of the rides, we basically were put in the fastpass queue… And they were really good at making it work well.

Had I known about the Deluxe Premium package initially I might have gone that way for economy’s sake, but after I had already paid for it, we kept it because it is a lot of fun to be taken around and be a VIP for ~9 hours, plus the party and show later too (and with 3 fast passes to use that day, you can keep busy from 8a-10p with almost no waiting in line. It is a jam packed day with more food and snacks than you ought to eat, plenty to drink, great guides, and most likely the people in your group will all be of like minds (Star Wars/Disney fanatics) so you will have people to talk with too.

  • Hi! I am going to ditto the questions from Carolyn on April 8th…I looked through but did not see a response…

I think I now understand the key differences between the two Feel the Force packages — unclear how this compares to VIP?
    1. Does VIP have separate or shared seating for shows?
    2. Does VIP have separate or shared parade viewing?
    3. Does VIP have separate or shared dessert party location?
    4. Does VIP have separate or shared fireworks viewing location?

Also, do you happen to know where the lunch is for the VIP package? And do you know if Darth Maul priority entrance for the VIP package lasts all day like the Deluxe package? And sorry for one more question…how many are in the VIP tour group? We booked it because all of the Deluxe packages were sold out, but the cast member did not have that information. Really appreciate all of your help, we are SO excited about coming to our 7th SWW!! Thanks again!! =)

  • It seems like the Deluxe sold out super-fast (same day it was announced even?!), even for a small party. Any chance more spots will be made available?

    Thanks!

  • For the directionaly challenged, or those not totally familiar with DHS, Will there be a map? I have only been able to find 2014 park maps but with the hat gone and venue changes, I would feel better with an actual map showing SWW events. Will this happen?

  • Marilyn, Symphony in the Stars is something completely separate from Fantasmic. On Nights when they have the Symphony show they run Fantasmic twice for those that want those that want to see both.

Jenn I think the problem here is that no one really knows that many specifics. Not even Disney themselves. For the shows if you managed to secure a deluxe package you have a guaranteed seat at all of the star wars shows. If you just have the premium package you are issued a show at the time of check in and that’s the one you have access to without the long wait. As for the dessert party, Unfortunately no one will really know exactly what they will serve this year until this year occurs, but last year they had both the yoda and vader cup cake, A chocolate and Caramel cake, a carrot cake, a lemon tart, and I think it was an apple crisp but I don’t really remember all that well. They all had Star Wars names. Then there were a few alcoholic mixed drinks and a two that didn’t have any alcohol in them for the padawans.

However I’m going to say that it’s looking as if all the Deluxe packages have already been booked. But I’m going to keep trying and recommend that others do the same.

  • Since not all questions are being answered on here, is there a direction you can point us in for more answers on the specifics of this event? I would greatly appreciate it!

  • I am confused about the fireworks. Is the Symphony in the Stars different than Fantasmic? The times seem to coincide but are not exact so it seems you need to do one or the other?

  • I have reserved the Deluxe Premium Package. I have a question- how long is my seat guaranteed for a show? I have a dining reservation at 12:30 and would like to go to the 1:45 show- do I have to show up early in order to reserve my spot? Or can I show up right at 1:45 and still get in? To ask it another way- will they open the reserved seating at any point?

  • Will snacks other than the Mickey bars be offered (ex:popcorn, rice crispy treats)?

Also, I know you’ve explained this, but Im still not clear if people who purchased the FtF Deluxe package will have to pick the shows upon check in? You said first come basis, but I’m assuming if you purchased deluxe its guaranteed access?

Also, during the dessert party portion, what desserts will be offered other than the vader/yoda cupcakes? Sorry for so may questions, but trying to plan meals around this information.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Rachel,
Thank you for all the information you’re providing. I actually just tried calling the reservation line to book the Feel the Force Deluxe package for May 30 and they couldn’t find it listed and said it was sold out. Is it really possible that it sold out in less than one day, especially since Disney is still posting about it? Is there any other way I can check on availability?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Rachel, I see the deluxe premium package will receive a commemorative lanyard. Will the premium package be receiving anything similar for entry or will it be some sort of wristband? Thanks!

  • Can anyone tell me more about the VIP Ultimate Star Wars Day?? I have called the Tours dept on 3 different times and received 3 different answers on what is included. Are all Star Wars shows in the theater included as in the deluxe feel the force package? Will there be drinks and snacks for parade viewing area? Is there a dessert party? What exactly do you get for the considerable more $$ besides breakfast and lunch. Will there be Star Wars chracters at the breakfast? Where is the parade viewwing area for the VIP Ultimate Star Wars Day? So many questions????

    Please help[!!

  • thank you so much for your responses. This helps the planning tremendously. Any word on options during the dessert party for people with allergies, especially allergies to dairy?

  • I think I now understand the key differences between the two Feel the Force packages — unclear how this compares to VIP?
    1. Does VIP have separate or shared seating for shows?
    2. Does VIP have separate or shared parade viewing?
    3. Does VIP have separate or shared dessert party location?
    4. Does VIP have separate or shared fireworks viewing location?

  • Thanks Rachel for your responses. However, I’m still wondering does the “reserved seats” for the shows mean that we’ll be sitting in a special section for the SWW party package people? Or is this the same as a Fast Pass for the show? Would we line up & enter the theater in the Fast Pass line? Or will we have a separate line up area?

In addition, a lot of people are wondering about the “snack” mentioned here in the blog for the parade viewing. Other areas on the Disney website only mention soft drinks & water. This might seem trivial, but kids, and older people alike, loved getting the Mickey bars last year and are asking if those will be available again this year. Would you please let us know?

I would really appreciate an answer for these 2 important questions. Thanks so much.

    • Hi Frances, The reserved seating in Theater of the Stars is in a separate section than FastPass+. There will be an entrance that will be designated with signage at the theater for Feel the Force guests. All Feel the Force guests will have the same entrance.

And yes, ice cream novelties will be offered during parade viewing as a snack. 🙂

  • >>while the Feel the Force Premium Deluxe Package includes reserved seating for all of the Celebrity Talk Shows in Theater of the Stars on the day of the package.<<

When you say all, what does this include? Like LISA said, the wording in all of these ads/blogs is kind of vague. There have been (and still seem to be) four shows each day. This year:

    1. Star Wars Rebels
    2. Stars of the Saga
    3. The celebrity of the day show (Ewok's Tale, A Visit to the Maul, etc)
    4. Obi Wan and Beyond

For the premium package, are any of these in play? For deluxe (and VIP) all of them?

Thanks! Really looking forward to SWW again this year, and these packages really take some of the stress out of attending (it can get a wee bit warm waiting hours for the talk shows, though I do have some great pictures of Muppet's from those waits :).

Planning without all of the details is harder because we have to get fast passes ahead of time for shows and rides at non-flexible periods of time months in advance (which I am in the LOVE IT camp by the way, as it makes the vacation time a lot easier to manage, when we know what it is we can get (and what everyone else will be getting so we can do the opposite!).

    • Hi Louis, the Feel the Force Premium Package includes reserved seats for your choice of (1) of the shows at the Theater of the Stars featuring Celebrity talent. Show time will be selected at check-in. There are a limited amount of seats per show and times are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. With the Feel the Force Deluxe Premium Package, you will have reserved seats for ALL of the shows at the celebrity talk shows that day in the Theater of the Stars.

  • 1. location for the parade is different for premium vs deluxe plan? yes or no
    2. for deluxe premium plan the seating for us is different than fast pass plus for the shows? yes or no
    3. check in for deluxe premium plan for dessert party? location

    thanks,
    jim

    • Hi Jim,
      1. Yes – Premium viewing area is near Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner, Deluxe viewing is near the My Magic+ Service Center near the entrance of the park
      2. Yes
      3. Feel the Force Deluxe Premium Package guests will check-in for the dessert party across from the Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant

  • Please let us know about the snacks for the parade….Please, pretty please with mouseears on top!

  • So who do we contact to get the correct information about the differences in these packages? This site says one thing, the Disney site has another, and the Disney cast members when one calls to make the reservation says something completely different.

  • So still just vague responses….Where do the premium people check in for the dessert party? The Disney site lists Brown Derby for check in under the deluxe premium section.

    • Feel the Force Premium Package guests will check-in for the dessert party across from Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner, Feel the Force Premium Deluxe Package guests will check-in across from The Hollywood Brown Derby.

  • For the Deluxe package, will the reserved seating for the shows be the same at FP+? Would we enter thru the regular FP+ line? Or will these reserved seats be in a separate section with a different line?

Also for the Deluxe package, it says that reserved seating is included for ALL shows. On some week-ends there will be 4 shows, and maybe even a possible 5 shows for the last week-end. I just want to confirm that this package does give reserved seating for ALL shows, no matter how many there might be on that particular day. Thanks!

PS. Also interested in what the “snack” consists of. Last year we had Mickey Bars & such.

    • Hi Frances, the Feel the Force Premium Package includes reserved seating for your choice of (1) of the shows at Theater of the Stars featuring Celebrity talent (this is a new addition to the package this year), while the Feel the Force Premium Deluxe Package includes reserved seating for all of the Celebrity Talk Shows in Theater of the Stars on the day of the package.

The reserved seating in Theater of the Stars is in a separate section than FastPass+. There will be an entrance that will be designated with signage at the theater for Feel the Force guests. All Feel the Force guests will have the same entrance.

  • Hi,
Would you please clarify the exact specifics for each package? The dessert parties for each package are in separate areas? The firework viewing areas are in separate locations? Is there seating in the deluxe package for the dessert party? With the deluxe package how much time in advance must one show up to assured a reserved seat? Dr. Internet is awash with varying bits of information most claimed to be received from Disney cast members when booking their packages. LOL at the all the snack questions 🙂

    • For the Legends of the Force: Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade there are different viewing areas, Premium viewing is near Min & Bill’s Dockside Diner, and Deluxe viewing is near the start of the parade, near the MyMagic+ Service Center. Symphony in the Stars fireworks and Star Wars-themed dessert party is the same for both Feel the Force packages. With the Feel the Force Premium Deluxe Package you get everything in the Premium Package plus access to ALL of the Celebrity Talk Shows in Theater of the Stars on the day of the package (versus reserved seating for your choice of (1) Celebrity Talk Show with the Premium Package), priority access to Darth’s Mall on the day of the package, and the commemorative lanyard and credential.

  • I just thought of another question: Will my entire family need to be there to get your credentials for the DPP? How about for the PP do you get a wristband? Does my whole group have to get there for that as well? Thank you so much. Sorry about the constant questions I just want to get this right

  • For the Feel the Force Premium package, is it required to check in at/around 10am? I’d like to participate in the activities that come after the motorcade as we won’t arrive until around 2pm

  • Also wondering if snacks will be offered as they were last year? It is mentioned vaguely in your article, but not on the description page for the feel the force package. I’m assuming at the price point, that a snack is included. Also wondering what the snack(s) might be? Thanks!

  • I too am curious about the snack situation as compared to last year’s. It would be a shame if they only offered just water/soda while waiting for the parade.

  • I’m in the same boat. For some reason, I was just really excited about them passing out Mickey Bars with the FTF package. I know it’s a small detail in the grand scheme of things, but still.

  • How many people are allowed to book each package type? For instance so im clear, how many people per day can book Feel the Force Deluxe Premium Package? how many people per day can book Feel the Force Premium Package?

Thank you wait for your reply i do

  • could you clarify where each dessert party for each package will be? Are they all in the same area?

    • The dessert party will take place in the same area for both packages. However, they do have separate check-in areas: dessert party check in for Feel the Force Premium Package guests is across from Min & Bill’s, Feel the Force Premium Deluxe guests will check-in for the dessert party across from The Hollywood Brown Derby.

  • will there be any desserts available for people with food allergies? Thank you

  • Can you clarify if snacks will be offered at the parade as they were last year? I have been seeing only water and soda, which is very disappointing. Thanks!

    • Yes, snacks will be offered.

  • Will the VIP Ultimate Star Wars tour share the same parade, show and dessert party areas or will they have a more private space?

    • The Ultimate Day at Star Wars Weekend VIP Tour guests have a separate viewing location for the Legends of the Force Motorcade from the Feel the Force package guests. The evening dessert party with viewing of the Summon the Force Finale show and Symphony of the Stars Fireworks lends itself to a more “party” style environment and is enjoyed by guests of both the Ultimate Day at Star Wars Weekends VIP Tour and the Feel the Force Package Guests.

  • Hi Rachel, do we know what the snack option will be for the parade?

  • So excited to see these event details posted! I just booked my package. Last year was amazing – this package is totally worth it!

    • The Force is strong with this one. 🙂
