I love nighttime at Disney Parks! There is a little bit of extra magic in the air once the sun sets. I recently stopped by Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida one evening to check out some Made With Magic items. You may recall that these items allow guests to become a part of a show by lighting up in time with or in the same color scheme at select nighttime spectaculars. During my visit, I learned how to harness some magic using my favorite item, the Sorcerer Mickey wand.

Made with Magic items can be found in a variety of locations at Disney Parks. Each item has a retail of $30.00.

Starting today, guests may also find select Made with Magic items online at DisneyStore.com/MadewithMagic.

  • Will the brush be available At Disney World? We’ll be ther in July and my kids would love the wand and brush.

  • These are pretty awesome. My son will love the Wand next time we go to the parks.

I think a “Made with MagicBand” would be great idea. A MagicBand that glows with the show and also works for everything a normal MagicBand works with.

  • Do these items only work in the park or will they work with each other at home?

    • @Jeni – The Sorcerer Mickey wand will change the colors of items outside of Disney Parks. Guests will need to attend a nighttime spectacular at Disney Parks to become a part of the show.

  • I hope that the hat can buy in Hong Kong Disneyland also

    • @Cheuk – Yes, the Made with Magic hat is carried in Hong Kong Disneyland.

  • We’ll definitely be trying some of these gadgets! Do you know if there are any plans to do Made with Magic pendants or bracelets down the road? I have a color-change pendant from 2011 that I still love, but it’d be even better synchronized to the shows!

    • @Trinna – Great question. I’ve not seen plans for specific things like a pendant or bracelet. If there are other items, we would share that information on the Disney Parks Blog.

  • “make it pink…make it blue…” cool idea making the wand multifunctional!

  • I just purchased the wand last night at Disneyland and was having an absolute BLAST changing other guests ear colors and patterns. I was wondering if this wand with sync up and be able to be used with the new Paint the Night parade when it debuts at Disneyland resort?

    • @Michelle – I’m so glad to hear! There are no current plans for such interaction with the Paint the Night parade at Disneyland Resort.
