There’s a number of reasons why I’m looking forward to May 22! First of all, it’s my mom’s birthday, so happy early birthday Mom! Not only that, it’s the exciting moment we have all been waiting for — the official kick-off to the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration! When you couple that with a 24-hour event and new nighttime spectaculars like the “Paint the Night” parade, “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks, could it get any better? When I got a sneak peek at the artwork for the 24-hour event tees, “Being Up All Night Makes Me Dopey,” the answer was yes! Take a look, and I think you’ll agree.
Special Tip: Look for special glow-in-the-dark elements on the adult and youth tees.
Also debuting as part of the exciting event is a limited release pin.

What time does the downtown disney shop open on the 22nd???
What time last year did DLR reach capacity? My son works until 5 am that day…..I am hoping he can sleep a few hours.
Will the Dopey shirts and pins be on sale prior to the 22nd or just on the 22nd? Also do we know prices for the shirt and pin? Thanks so much! The countdown is on!!!!
The shirts will be available to purchase beginning May 22, while supplies last. I’m pretty sure they’re going to go pretty fast. Prices will be as follows:
Youth Tee, sizes X-Small – X-Large will be approximately $27.95. Adult Tee, sizes X-Small – 3X will be approximately $29.95.
The pin will be $9.95, I believe.

Just curious if there’s going to be a keepsake that’s given out for the first x amount of guests through the gate that day, like they did with the One More Disney Day Leap Day ears in 2012. Also, what are the line up guidlelines for getting in that morning? Parking? Just trying to plan our time 🙂 Thanks 🙂

Diana, there was a brief opportunity for our Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders to pre-order the shirt. However that time frame has closed. Look for the tee on May 22 for sure.
@Kayla The WDW shirt will not be the same because Olaf is our mascot for the event. I’m also very interested in seeing what our merchandise will look like and also the special goodies.
Please say that some of these treats will be available for those with food allergies/intolerances? It’s so nice to hear and see about all the tasty limited time treats, but it’s also a bummer to not ever be able to try any of them.

Kristy, is anyone that you know coming to the Disneyland Resort for the 24-hour event? If so, that’s probably the best way to ensure that you get one of the Dopey shirts. However, in the days following the 24-hour event keep a close eye on the Theme Park Section of DisneyStore.com as the shirt may become available online.
When we will get entertainment details such as times for the Disneyland 24hr event? There is nothing on the operating calendar for entertainment offerings into the early hours on the 23rd. Thanks for any info!
