Casey’s Corner – Hitting Lunch Out of the Park for 20 Years at Magic Kingdom Park

Imagine sitting at the end of Main Street U.S.A., looking at Cinderella Castle, the ragtime pianist serenading you as you bite into a juicy all-American hotdog. Is there anything better? Twenty years ago today, Casey’s Corner opened, pleasing hungry guests and baseball fans alike.

Decorated with vintage baseball souvenirs and photos, Casey’s Corner has been hitting it out of the park since 1995. Guests enjoy tasty favorites like the Barbecue Slaw Dog, Corn Dog Nuggets and Ball Park Nachos. Last year, we reimagined the interior to accommodate even more fans with additional seating.

Talk about a home run!

  • Can’t get enough Disney corndogs!!!!! 😉

  • They seem to keep changing their bun vendors; white-wheat-white-wheat…one of the drawbacks of having an annual pass is noticing when things arent consistent. I DO love covering my dog with melted cheese!

  • One of my favorites things to do in the park is grab a Casey’s lunch, and sit and people watch!

  • I have to peel the skin off of hot dogs for my son (even “skinless” hot dogs) and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was at the ones served at Casey’s Corner. Plus, they taste very good!

  • My daughter Jessica LIVES for corn nuggets. Last December we were eating some at 2:30AM during extra magic hours.

    • They’re a great late-night snack! 😀

  • Casey’s was my first job in when I was 16 in 1996. They still served the dogs in the old skool foil wrappers then and flipping wrapper after wrapper is what I remember most. It still remains one of my favs, the brownies there are one of my favorite Disney snacks. But I have to say, I was so disappointed when they changed bread a while back :-/

    • The brownies are delicious! 🙂

  • really disappointed last time I was at Casey’s, almost had food and drink spilled on me thanks to the “new” way of serving, pay one place and move to the center, packed with other guests to pick up your order…what was wrong with ordering, paying and picking up in the same place? no hurry to get my favorite MK meal ever again.

  • I totally agree with comment #1 from Barb.

I’ve heard so many great things about the dogs here, but being vegan there has never been an option for us. I know that there are lots of great vegan hot dog and sausage options out there (Field Roast, SmartDogs, etc), so hopefully Disney can work out a deal with them so that I have another place to spend my vegan money.

    • Thanks for the feedback, Benjamin! I’ve shared it with the food and beverage team at Magic Kingdom.

  • The BBQ slaw dog is awesome, but never attempt it without plenty of napkins and a couple wetnaps! A great snack that I try to get on every trip now.

    • Napkins are key! Especially if you add extra ketchup and cheese. 😉

  • Is there anything better than a Chili-Cheese Dog?

    • Two Chili-Cheese Dogs? 🙂

  • I remember going to Casey’s Corner last time I went to WDW back in 2008. Cant wait to go back to Casey’s Corner again in September.

    • See ya real soon!

  • I agree with need for a vegan/veggie dog! Wouldn’t that be a nice addition.

    • Hi Stacey – I’ve shared your feedback with the food and beverage team at Magic Kingdom.

  • Only 20? What was it before the 90’s “Disney Decade”?
(I can’t even remember from my first pre-80’s trip as kids!)

    • Before becoming Casey’s Corner, this location was known as Refreshment Corner. 🙂

  • I remember one time running across the park before closing from a super disappointing dinner elsewhere, and gobbling up some mini corn dogs. Caseys Corner was a saving grace for sure, and it will always bring a smile to my face. And happiness to my tummy. 😉

    • Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey’s Corner are one of my all-time favorite snacks in the park! 🙂

  • They need a vegan hot dog and corn dog option.

    • Barb – Thanks for the feedback! I’ll be sure to share it with the location.
