  • The word of the day is displayed in quotes – should they be included in an entry?

  • I’m very excited about this, but some details haven’t been all that well thought through. Not changing the word until 7am, but having one of the main places to post the word be outside the bag check, which generally opens at 6:30am? There *will* be some confusion there.

  • If you read the fine print in this post it says you can use a sponsor tablet which will be located at the resort. Anyone worried about cell phone service or not having texting abilities, fear not! Just ask where the tablets are that you can use.

  • And readers, read the instructions carefully before asking your questions. I myself already know some of the answers to your questions just by reading the instructions.

No, you don’t need to be on the resort premises to enter or redeem the WEEKLY prizes.

You DO need to be on RESORT premises(parks, esplanade, DTD, hotels)to enter and redeem the DAILY prize.

  • I’m a little worried. I have very unreliable service in the parks. Only in the parks for some reason. Sometimes I don’t get texts until hours later. The time stamp will have a much earlier time than when I get the text. I know my cell service has nothing to do with Disney parks, but is there another way this can be done?

  • This is frustrating I do not get service in the parks.

  • Must you be at the Resort to enter the weekly contest?

  • Hi Erin,

Will people be able to enter even if they’re not visiting the park or is it just for people visiting the parks? Also, Can you tell me when the contest ends? My family and I will be going in October and I’m hoping to take part in the contest.

P.S. I can’t wait to see all of the 60th decorations as well as the Halloween Time decorations! It will be our first time going at Halloween time!!

  • Whoo hoo! Thanks Erin! Now to just talk my husband into going every day 🙂

  • WE will be there on saturday, may 23 🙂 hope to get something. we are going to celebrate our son’s birthday too 🙂

  • Does this exclude Cast Members who decide to visit the parks?

  • Is the only way to enter the weekly contest by entering the daily drawing?

  • We don’t have text messaging (but will have our cell phones with us in the parks) will we still be able to participate or will we not know if we win anything?
