Have you ever looked at someone and wondered what’s going on inside their head? Disney•Pixar’s original new film “Inside Out” takes us inside the mind to find out, and this summer at Epcot, you can go inside “Inside Out” for a special preview of the movie. This sneak peek will offer guests an advance look at a sequence from the film, complete with special in-theater effects and an exclusive introduction from the filmmakers.
“Inside Out” ventures inside the mind of 11-year-old Riley and introduces us to the Emotions that guide her: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust. Based in Headquarters, the five Emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy (voice of Amy Poehler), whose mission is to make sure Riley stays happy. “Inside Out” is directed by Academy Award® winner Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.”, “Up”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Up”) with an original score by Michael Giacchino (“The Incredibles,” “Ratatouille,” “Up”).
This sneak peek opportunity begins May 30, following our special preview of Disney’s “Tomorrowland,” playing at the Imagination Pavilion theater at Epcot now through May 24. When visiting Epcot, you can also enjoy the “Inside Out” Emotion Garden as part of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.
Disney•Pixar’s “Inside Out” opens in theaters on June 19, 2015.

Movie previews are great fun (especially if you haven’t seen the film) but surely there is somewhere else in the park to screen them? I hope Captain Eo is back at Walt Disney World when (if) I visit in October this year. Australia is a long way to travel to be disappointed!
“Inside Out is going to be a great movie, however movie previews should not replace attractions.”
^ THIS!
I really hope Captain EO is back by the time we visit in late August.
Come on people, we all know that they have said that EO would be gone for a movie preview to happen (which means they are renovating EO i.e. disney code). Just because they are showing previews of a Summer movie doesn’t mean that the EO show will not be back.
Thank you sharing, Shawn! Does Disney have any other plans to promote “Inside Out” in the parks over the summer? I remember when “Monsters U” came out, Hollywood Studios launched a daily pep rally for guests – which was a lot of fun!
Will the Disneyland Resort also receive a preview of Inside Out?
Awesome! Fantastic use for this theater.
Inside Out is going to be a great movie, however movie previews should not replace attractions.
Awww, it should preview in the old Cranium Command theater would have felt more apropos.
Shawn, please reassure us that EO will still return.
So much for EO coming back… thanks for that.
Anyone who will be at Epcot during this preview should check it out! (It’s shown in the Captain Eo/Honey I Shrunk the Audience theater.)
We saw the ‘Tomorrowland’ preview at Epcot last week–so much fun with the extra special effects. We came out of it saying we’d love to see the full movie in that theater (with the extra special effects)!
