It was a day to celebrate old memories and create new ones as Peyton List, known to most of us as “Emma” on Disney Channel’s “Jessie,” and her grandmother, Charlene List, spent time together at Magic Kingdom Park.
What better way to start the day than to do something that bridges both generations, a meet and greet with Mickey himself at Town Square Theater. Excited to see Mickey, Peyton recalled the first time she saw him as a child, “The first time I met Mickey I was with you grandma.”
Walking down Main Street U.S.A., eating Mickey Ice Cream Bars in front of Cinderella Castle, riding Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, Peyton and her grandmother shared stories from the past and used the time to learn more about each other. Peyton was surprised to learn she and her grandmother share a common bond, a love of thrill rides. A fact quickly supported with a ride together on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Beaming with pride and love for her granddaughter, Charlene shared this advice to all grandparents, “They will remember this the rest of their lives, spending time with you, and you will remember, so everybody wins. Life’s too short and you got to make a lot of happy memories.”

Peyton List is a class act, we saw her by chance at Magic Kingdom last October and was super sweet to my daughter! She even posed for a picture with her!
