July 17 was a special day for us here at the Disneyland Resort – the 60th anniversary of opening day. It was also a special day for honeymooners Matthew and Claire Foote from Spartanburg, South Carolina, because they were our Disneyland Diamond Days winners for the day! It was their first visit to the Disneyland Resort, so the prize package, which included Disney VIP Tour Guide service, reserved viewing for “Fantasmic!” and exclusive visits with Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters – made this momentous occasion even more magical for them.

  • @Nicholas… yes, that all makes sense. By the way, where were you able to see such a schedule? The main calendar at Disneyland’s web page along with the popup calendars for individual events only go up to 4-Sept.

  • @d looking through the schedule, during Halloween time Disneyland Forever is running on every night EXCEPT the 17 nights of the Halloween Party, on those nights they are doing the Halloween Screams fireworks during the party. They are running Paint the Night on party nights, but only during the party so normal park guests who do not buy the hard ticket party will not be able to see Paint the Night on those 17 nights.

  • Just a tip for process improvement here. Readers may be confused by your last reply Erin; it makes it sound like both entertainment events stop on 11-Sep.

I believe taking all posts together, Paint the Night and Disneyland Forever forever are showing nightly both before and during Halloween time?. Exception being 10-Sep.

  • Thats great! Thanks for posting the info. I dont think alot of people understood that.
Any info about the period inbetween Halloweentime and Christmastime which normally doesnt offer nightly Fireworks?

  • Looks like fun for the 60th Anniversary events.
On that note… I noticed today on the Disneyland calendar that they are showing a partial Schedule for the first few days of Sept. And they are showing the 60th fireworks and Paint the night show as showing nightly.

I know you posted these show will be offered nightly during Halloweentime. But you did mention in another post not on Sept 10th which wouldnt be during Halloweentime.
So, does that mean the both of these shows are going to be offered nightly before Halloweentime starts?, and possibly for the rest of the year as a 60th Anniversary special?

    • Sorry for any confusion. Yes, “Disneyland Forever” fireworks, “Paint the Night” parade and “World of Color – Celebrate!” are all showing nightly until Halloween Time begins September 11.
