It is a little-known fact that my first role with Disney Parks was as a hostess at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park. Last week, I had a chance to put their service to the test by going to breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant with some of my fellow cast members and friends. Originally introduced as a test, breakfast is now a permanent offering. Reservations can be made starting on August 5 for dates October 4 and beyond.
We shared a selection of delicious pastries as we ate our entrees. My friend Nancy ordered the newest addition to the menu, the Croque Madame. This open-faced ham sandwich is topped with a fried egg, Gruyere cheese and creamy béchamel, served with fresh fruit. Vivi loved the Eggs Florentine, a puff pastry shell filled with scrambled eggs, cheese and fresh spinach served with country ham and roasted plum tomatoes. And me? I couldn’t resist the Open-Faced Bacon and Egg Sandwich, with poached eggs, thick-cut applewood bacon, Brie cheese, arugula and tomatoes on a toasted baguette.
While dining there, I received exciting news that the testing phase is over, and breakfast is now a permanent offering. I also got a sneak peek of the artwork that will be on new kid’s souvenir cups, debuting in October. The cups will be available for an additional cost. Check out the artwork below!

We have breakfast reservations at Be Our Guest but we’re concerned that we won’t be able to eat there. In our family, we have two adults and two children, ages 5 and 8, with celiac and the menu doesn’t look at all promising. We have been to WDW with the adults with celiac but this will be the first trip since the children were diagnosed. We want it to be a good experience but are not sure how we’ll manage feeding the boys. Now that so many people are eating gluten-free by choice and not because of celiac, it almost seems harder than it used to be to ensure safe food.
Are the allergy friendly waffles gluten-free and are they house made like the ones they have at the resort?
Was able to score a reservation (before park opening!) for my December trip! Can’t wait!!
Kendall, I had the same experience this morning. The reservation dates were definitely released earlier than today.
Hi. I’ve been trying to get a Be Our Guest breakfast reservation for November 16 since 5:50 this morning. It is now 6:15am. I continue to click Find A Table, but there have been no reservation times pop up for that date. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Hooray! We’d missed the window for lunch & dinner, but just now were able to make reservations for breakfast in December. Our first time at BOG and we can’t wait. Thanks!
apparently this was opened up before August 5th because there are no times available for Nov-15 to the 20th. I have tried all day today and nothing is available. how was everyone else able to book this? I was online at 6am the morning of 180 for lunch and dinner reservations could not get those and now I cannot get get breakfast. How can I get reservations? Should I call? Who should I call?
curious why the breakfast entree is more expensive than the lunch entree? is it because breakfast comes with the pastries?
Super excited to try this in November!
I used my MyDisneyExperience app and got reservations for breakfast on Thanksgiving day!! Never been at the park prior to opening, can’t wait!
Hopefully someone can answer this. Can a party of one (adult) order an entree from the kid’s menu and does this still come with the pastry platter served with the adult entrees?
This is awesome! I just got an 8:05 and 8:10am reservation for my trip in December! I love the fact I will be in the park before it opens!
Has the menu changed? I dined at Be Our Guest in June. The menus I see online are not the same as the menu on My Disney Experience. There are waffles listed on the My Disney Experience app menu. Are waffles now an entree option?
Hi Kathleen, the waffles you are seeing on the My Disney Experience app are the allergy-friendly waffles.
You don’t have to wait until August 5 I already got my reservations for November and I made them today.
Thank you so much for this blog post, and to people for the comments! I’d been trying to get a lunch or dinner reservation for our family’s November trip and hadn’t been able to. BOG has been a high priority for our trip and we were going to be really sad if we didn’t get to eat there. I just got a breakfast reservation. So happy! Thanks again!
I just got Breakfast reservations for November 20th!
I just 2 minutes ago got a reservation for breakfast mid October!
Are there any plans to make this a “character” breakfast?
Reservations are open! I just got one for Dec. 20th!
Do you know what time reservations will be available for booking on August 5th? Keeping my fingers crossed that we can get a reservation! Thanks!
I’m glad there’s a vegetarian option for breakfast. Still, I’m a bit disappointed that’s its the same vegetable quiche that’s served at lunch but with different sides. While the likelihood of guests eating at Be Our Guest for breakfast and lunch on the same trip is probably small, a different dish would have been appreciated.
The Croissant Doughnut is another vegetarian option at breakfast. If you’re looking for a different option to try at lunch, the Quinoa Salad is delicious!
I just booked October 22nd it looked like they had a lot of slots open.
Good luck getting a reservation for breakfast. They are already book up to January 30. I had been waiting for the 90 day window for breakfast (I’m going November 5-9), but now it looks like it’s 180 days. Now I can’t get a reservation.
Hi Veronica, Reservations for dates in November will open on August 5. 🙂
