In this week’s video series “Sonia’s Best of Walt Disney World,” Sonia gives us an inside look on all of the benefits that our familias get when they stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Did you know that we have hotel suites that accommodate up to six people? Now, abuelita can stay with the whole family the next time you come to Walt Disney World Resort!

Sonia shares these and other little tidbits of information, including her favorite resorts and all the benefits you get by staying in our hotels to help you enjoy even more Disney magic.

So tell me, out of the more than 25 resorts at Walt Disney World, which one is your favorite?

  • They all have their benefits. Some of my family’s favorites, Port Orleans Riverside (scenery, Bob Jackson piano show), Fort Wilderness cabins (extra room, peace / serenity, proximity to Magic Kingdom), Animal Kingdom Lodge (animals, theming, kids pool area). The problem then becomes everyone gets a favorite and we can never agree, but that is a nice problem to have.

  • Last comment about daughter graduating from me. Don’t know why it says anonymous. Huh!

  • Our daughter graduates from college in March 2016 so we’re planning surprise trip to WDW. Haven’t decided which hotel yet but were thinking Boardwalk. Also looking into a combined Disney Cruise so we’ll be on these blogs a lot in the coming months! We love you guys!

    • Kay, this is amazing!!! Your daughter will love her surprise! We love you back!

  • We have stayed at every Disney World Resort and I have to say the Polynesian is my favorite!! We also loved the treehouse villas. It was like having our own little house right there at Disneyworld!

    • That’s amazing Tonya!!!

  • We’ve stayed at all of the moderates and most of the deluxe resorts and our favorite is Boardwalk. With easy access via boat to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot (via the little used back entrance between France in England, which is a huge plus) as well as top notch service, restaurants and enough night time entertainment that if you don’t feel like going to a park, you can have plenty of fun right there.

    • So true Jay! The International Gateway entrance is a great benefit for the Epcot Resort Area guests! And there’s so much to do at the Boardwalk!

  • We love the Polynesian Resort! And the Wilderness Resort! There’s not anything we don’t love about WDW! Staying at a Disney property makes the experience more relaxing, extra hours in parks is also a great perk!

    • Definitely two of my favorite resorts as well Kay! And the Extra Magic Hours are the best!
