#DisneyKids: First Disney Treat at Walt Disney World Resort

by , Managing Editor of Social Media Public Relations, Walt Disney World Resort

Walt Disney World Resort is place where little ones can try all kinds of new foods including international fare at Epcot like kebabs from Morocco and sushi from Japan, to giant turkey legs and calamari at Magic Kingdom Park. And now thanks to The Mickey Check, parents can easily identify nutritious menu options at restaurants on property.

Once your kids take their last bite of a healthy meal, sometimes it’s fun to indulge in special treats that you can only find at Disney Parks! Mickey waffles, Dole Whip, character-themed candy apples and so much more can be a sweet surprise to top off an action-packed day.

Just check out the smiles on these little faces as they try some favorite Disney Parks goodies for the first time! Do your kids have any favorite Disney desserts?

  • My kids love the Hawaiian Shaved Ice at Kona Island and the Kaki-Gori at Epcot.

  • This one was never at Walt Disney World, but when Disneyland used to have Carnation Ice Cream, our favorite treat was the Fantasia Ice Cream Swirl, it was Banana, Cherry, and Pistachio ice cream swirled together and it was AMAZING! I miss that Carnation isn’t a vendor at Disneyland because we can’t get that ice cream anymore since they were the only ones who made it.
