Disney Days of Past: Constitution Day

In honor of Constitution Day we take a look back at the All-American Parade, which made its debut in Magic Kingdom Park in 1987. Mickey and Minnie Mouse donned their finest colonial-wear while greeting guests from atop a parade float. The float consisted of a very large copy of the Constitution of the United States of America and a replica of the Liberty Bell.

  • Oh I love this!! This was my very first trip to Disney World when I was 3. I have home video of the trip and I couldn’t figure out what the large cake in front of the castle with “200” on it meant until I did some research online and found it. Thanks for posting!!

  • Beautiful! My first visit to Walt Disney World was in 1987; however, it appears I missed this awesome parade.
