For the past few months, we’ve been celebrating sixty years of the Happiest Place on Earth with the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration. Featuring the all-new “Paint the Night” parade, “Disneyland Forever” fireworks and “World of Color – Celebrate!” as well as special food and merchandise, the celebration has also brought a special sparkle throughout the Disneyland Resort – including a diamond-encrusted Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Today, I’m excited to tell you that the celebration will continue to dazzle guests through September 5, 2016. That means you’ve still got time to experience all the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration has to offer!
There have been countless moments of happiness here at the Disneyland Resort through the past sixty years … take a look at sixty seconds of happiness we’ve captured in the video below.
Join the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration, now through September 5, 2016!
i’m going there thursday and friday! i’m going to disneyland on thursday and california adventure on friday! and saturday maybe knotts! i love disneyland! i’m a true disneyland fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so the 60th Anniversary Continue until September 5, 2016 is that right?
Not visiting from Australia until late October 2016, so sadly, it looks like I’m going to miss out. Luckily I was over for the 50th birthday.
Any resort/dining specials for this celebration? Thinking about an anniversary trip next year!
YIPPIE!! We are flying out to Cali next August for a 14 day Disney Cruise and are planning on a day at Disneyland. SOOO EXCITED I’m not going to miss the 60th anniversary!! YAY!!!
I believe Erin will not know till next September comes around. I suspect that it will be around for at least another year due to the nice crowd it pulls in. The timeline is done because Disney wants to have a steady flow this coming year and doesn’t want to wait an extra year or two for your vacation to occur. It is a business after all.
I’m also wondering if Paint the Night and Disneyland forever fireworks will continue? When we plan our next trip depends on this!!
YAAAY! I’m SO glad to hear the celeb will continue through 2016! The fireworks are truly unbelievable. The new visuals that have been added are spectacular and create memories that only Disney can. Of course, diamonds are a girl’s best friend too!
Can’t wait to go we will be there in December
THAT’S INSANE!!! The 61st adversity would have already passes by the time this ends. But on the flip side am glade for my freind who will be there summer of 2015
Just in time for the Disneyland Half Marathon weekend!
That’s terrific news, Erin! When our kids are home for Christmas break, we are planning a trip in early January and were hoping the Diamond celebration would still be going on. We can’t wait!
So does this mean no Holiday Parade and fireworks???
I HOPE so!!! While I love the holiday parade and fireworks I am sooooooo hoping that the Paint the a night Parade and Disneyland Forever fireworks show will be still going on during Novemeber when are there!
I saw the new parade and fireworks show when I was there for the kick off in May and they were SPECTACULAR!!!!
Will fireworks be displayed nightly throughout the Diamond Celebration?
So does this mean that there will be a nightly 60th Anniversary Fireworks and Paint the night Parade through to Sept 5th of 2016?
My husband and I flew out from Virginia and were able to go to Disneyland for one day. The castle was beautiful and the Paint the Night parade and firework show were fantastic! That was my husband’s first trip to Disneyland and he left a big fan!
Hooray! We get to see it!
Is there any word on whether “Disneyland Forever” and “Paint the Night” will stick around beyond that? I know “Remember… Dreams Come True” went on for years beyond the 50th anniversary.
Erin, I adore the “Disneyland Forever” fireworks show and Paint the Night. Do you know if the 60th nighttime shows will end on Sept. 5 2016, or will they continue after the Diamond Celebration is over?
Fabulous! Love the decor, the ambiance and the new entertainment for the 60th. Went in June and I’ve got 3 more visits planned to see more of the dazzling Diamond Celebration in action.
