Earlier this week, 300 Disney Parks Blog readers joined our team to celebrate the return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the debut performance of the new stage show “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.”

As a part of the Disney Parks Blog “Not-So-Scary” Party, our guests met up at Hall of Presidents to hear more about the making of the show, the details on the costumes and more from the team who worked to bring the show to life.

Our guests also had a chance to show off their costumes before heading out for VIP viewing of the show and “Mickey’s Boo To You Parade.”

Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for future event opportunities.

  • Looks like everyone had fun! I hope you have another meet-up, as I missed the chance to enter this one.

  • Saw that folks attending got a special Disney Parks Blog Orange Bird magic band. Any plans to produce a retail magic band with the little Orange Bird on it?

  • I made it on the video!! Thank you Disney Parks Blog for such an awesome opportunity. My friends and I had an absolutely amazing time at the event and the highlight was, for sure, the Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular!!!

    • 🙂 That’s great to hear. I’m happy you had a good time.

  • Hope you will be posting more photos and videos from the meet up! We were looking forward to seeing our family photos from winning the costume contest!

    • More photos coming shortly…

  • We had a great time! Thank You So Much! Great Event!!!

    • Thank YOU!

  • Wow looks like it was a great time. How about sometimes changing the registration for these events so those of us with jobs where we aren’t allowed to sit on the Park Blog all day long actually have a chance at getting into. Whether it park events, movie premieres or anything else, registration is always when I am at work and always full when I get off. Something to accommodate those of us in similar situations as mine would be nice, or at least advance notice of events so we can try to sneak off and register from our phones

  • Thank you so much for the wonderful event! We were treated to such an amazing evening. Getting to hear the cast members talk about the Hocus Pocus show was so special. You could tell the show was made by fans with so much love for the characters. And the magic band was the icing on the cake, especially since Orange Bird is my favorite.

  • Thanks for the tickets! My granddaughters are the Supergirl and Batgirl next to Orangebird. They were so excited about the party, their moms had a hard time getting them to go to school that day, and they felt so special with their “press pass” type lanyards.

They loved the goodie bags, especially the Orangebird MB. When the announcement was made they started jumping up and down on their seats so fast I thought they were going to launch themselves up to the stage.

  • I hope you have a meet-up like this one next year. I’m already planning our trip for 2016. We are going to be 16 family members! And Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a must do for us.

  • So glad I finally got to attend a blog meet-up, I never seem to get the timing right. Had an amazing time, thank you :), it was worth the wait!!
