The “Happy HalloWishes” fireworks show is a highlight of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for many Disney guests.

This year, the nighttime spectacular – which you can only see on one of the party nights – is marking its 10th anniversary. In honor of the anniversary, we decided to go behind the scenes to see what putting on this fan favorite entails.

Follow along as Entertainment’s Bill Raws explains how the show’ haunting songs, “Grim Grinning Ghosts” and “This is Halloween,” set the stage for amazing fireworks. And how different colored fireworks are used to change the mood, and how much the crew loves wowing spectators with the show’s perimeter fireworks.

Have you seen “Happy HalloWishes”? What did you enjoy most about it? Tell us in the “Comments” section below.

  • Just came back from 2 shows, So good

  • I can’t wait to see the Happy HalloWishes fireworks! Call me a nut, but when I am feeling blue I have been known to pull up the video of these awesome fireworks and it never fails to cheer me up!

  • Saw the show on the first MNSSHP night! Loved it! I’m always amazed at Disney fireworks and this show rates really high for me. Song selection was great but who doesn’t enjoy a little villain now and then!!

  • Perhaps it’s tie for a new show then?…
