Have you ever noticed the Storyboard Chandelier that highlights the lobby of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort? The chandelier features an arrangement of original storyboard drawings from favorite Disney films, including “The Lion King,” “Cars,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Finding Nemo.”
Since its opening in 2012, many artists, filmmakers and actors have stopped by to autograph panels on the Storyboard Chandelier, including Jodi Benson and Pat Carroll from “The Little Mermaid,” and John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney & Pixar Animation Studios.
Earlier this month, artiest Josh Cooley (“Inside Out”) and writer Robert Baird (“Big Hero 6” and “Monsters University”) stopped by to leave their mark on this amazing piece of Disney film history – an experience they happily described as “surreal.”
Check out the clip above for a look inside their visit.

Neither of these artists are animators. One’s mainly known for being a writer and the other as a storyboard artist.
