Are you loving the changes that Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has undergone over the past few years, such as the lovely new lobby and the debut of our very own Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto? To me, the resort is looking better than ever!

To celebrate the fact that Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort originally opened this week back in 1971, Jason “Tiki” Tackett has created our latest wallpaper, which mimics the original folio covers for the resort in 1971. According to Jason, “it’s a simple wallpaper, featuring the tiki icon, arms extended in the spirit of welcoming and aloha.”

Be sure to check out the terms of use about using the wallpaper before you download it. And click here to check out our complete gallery of wallpapers.

  • Great Polynesian Village Resort wallpaper. Any chance on uploading a 2560×1440 resolution version like some of the other newer wallpapers??

  • Whoa… those straight horizontal lines on the tiki head makes me think this is a Magic Eye illusion… if I stare long enough, will I see a hidden Mickey? 😀
