This past July, soccer fans across the country celebrated the U.S. Women’s National Team victory against Japan in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final. Since that historic win, the Winner’s Trophy has been on display in the United States, allowing fans to get an up-close look – and even a photo – of the coveted prize.
With a 4-year old niece who is wrapping up her first season of soccer, I have huge respect for the team and the sport. I know I’m not alone! I was thrilled to learn that the very first stop in the “Share the Celebration” experience is Disney Springs West Side. Thanks to our friends at Coca-Cola who are sponsoring the event, guests can score a complimentary photo and sample the latest Coca-Cola products. Soccer fans can also shop for gear from United World Soccer.
Join us tomorrow, October 23, 2015, from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. on the West Side promenade, near Cirque du Soleil and House of Blues.
Travel Tips: If you’re driving, allow plenty of extra time for travel and follow the signs to available parking. For guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, take complimentary transportation to Disney Springs, then enjoy a leisurely boat ride from Marketplace to West Side, weather permitting.

Nicole, the trophy will be at Disney Springs for one day only. If you’re interested in catching a game while in Orlando, the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team will play against Brazil at the Citrus Bowl Stadium in downtown Orlando on Sunday, 10/25. The game starts at 2:30. And of course, you can always find your favorite soccer gear at United World Soccer, located at Disney Springs West Side! We hope to see you soon.
