How many of you have had the chance to check out the new Precision Series Die Cast Cars characters and play set display at Sarge’s Surplus Hut in Disney California Adventure park?
Some of you may have gotten a sneak peek at D23 EXPO 2015 in August, where we first debuted the Flo’s V8 Café play set. This exciting new addition to Sarge’s Surplus Hut features a complete look at subsequent high-end die cast cars and play sets modeled after the “Cars” film that will continue to debut over the next several years. In Spring 2016 add to your collection with Fillmore’s — debuting for the first time in any play set. Take a look!
Before you speed away, here are a more few inside tips from Senior Franchise and Brand Manager Carla Lewandowski, who gave us a glimpse at the new Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree “Give it a Whirl” and Chewall Tractor logo inspired gear (T-shirts and fleece) for adults and kids.
Look for it now at Sarge’s Surplus Hut and Ramone’s House of Body Art in Cars Land.

That particular piece of art was used for mainly kids apparel. But keep an eye out, you never know when it might make its way on to an adult tee.
My 4 year old loves this. He loves going to Sarge’s House (that’s what he calls it). He whats to buy all the pieces that are on display. My only thing is that he sees the cars in the model, but they are not available to buy in the store. Any chance to have those available? Its hard to explain to a 4 year old that I cannot buy them as they are not there 🙂
Liz, thank you so much for the feedback. I can absolutely understand how difficult that can be. I know the teams are always looking for opportunities to release items, I will certainly provide the feedback that just selling the actual Cars is something our Guests are looking for.
At 64 I can’t wait to make my first CARS Model.So PLEASE answer this other then CARS LAND in California where else can it be purchased ? Going the WDW in January will I be able to find it there ? Will it be online in the store ? I’m so excited !
John, you should be able to order it via our Disney Merchandise Guest Services team and can find it at select locations on both coasts. I’ve also been told select outside retailers also carry limited quantities, including Amazon.
What scale are these? I would love to see something in 1:87 scale.

HELLO 🙂 I recently discovered the cars precision series and I would love to collect it for my son who has recently fell head over heels for cars ! I bought some of the cars in individual display cases; doc and Ramone. however I read that there will be playsets released in the future for Ramone and doc. will the playsets also include the individual cars like filmore and flos playset ? I just wanted to double check and would rather wait for the playset that will include the car and the town and not have double of the cars 🙂 thank you ! I look forward to hearing back !
