With the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, I wanted to give you a preview of some commemorative merchandise created for this year’s event.

One of the most popular items from last year was the retail MagicBand. I’m happy to report a new limited edition MagicBand will be released this year starting November 8. This MagicBand will have a retail of $29.95 and an edition size of 4,000.

Other items will include t-shirts for adults and kids, and a decorative holiday ornament.

At the new D-Tech on Demand location in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co., guests will be able to create and personalize a case for select mobile phones. We currently offer cases for iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6/6+ as well as Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy 4, Samsung Galaxy 5 and Samsung Galaxy 6.

Finally, we will release several Disney pins created especially for the event. There is a limited release logo pin and a jumbo sized pin featuring Mickey Mouse and Pluto. The latter has an edition size of 750.

The limited edition pins will include artwork of characters like Dumbo and Timothy; Captain Hook and Smee; and, my favorite, the Hitchhiking Ghosts from The Haunted Mansion. Annual Passholders should look for a limited edition pin with Huey, Dewey and Louie (this pin has an edition size of 3,000).

Here are the best places to find these items at Magic Kingdom Park during the party. Please note that all items will be available while supplies last.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held on select nights, November 8 – December 18, and is separate from regular Magic Kingdom Park admission. Tickets are available now on DisneyWorld.com. See my fellow author Shawn Slater’s article for more details about the event this year.

  • I was at the Christmas party on Thursday Dec 17. I could only find the shirt in s or 3x. Anyway to order it?

  • We went to the VMCP this passed Tuesday. My mother in law didn’t know about the merchandise only offered during party. We were back at the park on Thursday and she tried to get a shirt and they roped off the area and told her she couldn’t purchase. They told her she could try to go through my disney experience to purchase to prove she had a ticket. How do I do that? Seems a little ridiculous to be stopped and held up from buying something when you paid that much money for a ticket just 2 days before.

  • We attended Mickey Magic Christmas party on Nov 12th but was unable to purchase the ornament. Is there a way to purchase now?

    Ron

  • I am seeing a lot of these items for sale on eBay 🙁 I do not go until 12/13. I really hope it is not all sold out by the time I get there!!

  • How much are the long sleeve t-shirt for an adult?

    • @Teresa – Retail is $32.95 each.

  • I was just wondering If there were any plans to offer a purple MagicBand?????

  • Love the pins, love the tees, love the Magicband! Hope there’s still an ample amount of merch in December!

  • Okay folks. Make sure you don’t buy all of the Tangled ones before November 30! That’s when I’ll be there and I totally want that one. 🙂

  • When do you expect other 2016 mechanise be available , especially the a disney 2016 bus and the 2916 antenna ball , we are in WDW till Dec 2 nd from the UK

    • @John – The dated 2016 merchandise typically sets in mid-to-late December. You may find some items but not the full assortment in early December.

  • There were Annual Passholder shirts available at the Frontier trading post. A light grey in color short sleeve. That was as of Sunday 11/09 during the event that night. Same image design with Annual Passholder logo below image. Seems to be a heavier cloth as well.

  • Steven, how much are the shirts?

    • @Deric – Retails vary between $21.95 for youth to $32.95 for a long sleeve adult shirt.

  • Steven,
Is the Annual Passholder pin going to be sold during regular park hours at the Magic Kingdom or will it only be available during the party? I have an Annual Pass and would like to purchase it next month when I’m down there, however I won’t be attending any of the parties.

    • @Jason – From my understanding, these items will only be sold during the parties. I hope you have a wonderful and safe trip!

  • It would be great if Disneyland would have this party as well. We have the Halloween party, but no Christmas party. Many of us would pay extra to attend. Just feedback from a loyal DLR passholder.

  • Steven – Is there a fridge magnet being offered with the logo design? If so, I promise I’ll buy one!

    • @Andrew – A magnet is not being offered this year.

  • Yes, I am also wondering if we can purchase the magic bands or other items, like the shirts, in advance? We aren’t attending until Dec. 18th and I’m worried many of the items may sell out.

    • @Rene and Aaron – Items are only sold during the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party events. Currently, we do not offer an option for items to be pre-purchased. I’m sorry I don’t have better news. I hope you have a wonderful time at the event.

  • Thanks! We are attending the party on Dec 1. Is there a way to purchase the MVMCP Magic Band in advance? Our 1st day will be on Nov 29, at Disney Springs and then Nov 30 at Magic Kingdom, we also have a memory maker starting Nov 30.

  • Do you have price for ornament & Phone case?

    Thanks for the updates

    • @Chad – The ornament is $21.95. The D-Tech on Demand cases are $36.95 each while personalized cases are $44.95 each. Please note that retails are subject to change without notice.

  • Hi! I was at the party on 11/8 and forgot to buy the ornament (thankfully I did get my Magic Band!). Can I still get one with proof of previous party attendance?

    • @Christy – Sorry to hear you missed the ornament. I would invite you to check with the Magic Kingdom merchandise operations team during your next visit. I can’t, however, guarantee that the operations team will be able to assist.
