Today in Disney History, Mickey Mouse made his on-screen debut in the animated short, “Steamboat Willie,” in 1928. In honor of our favorite mouse’s birthday, Disney artist Leo Cardoso developed this brand new desktop/digital wallpaper for us to share with all of you.

I wondered about the initials also. Makes sense! Love this wallpaper!
Hi George, I totally forgot to add a “hidden Mickey” this time. I will be adding them on future wallpapers 🙂
The D P B stands for “Disney Parks Blog”
I was looking for a Hidden Mickey or an Easter Egg in the picture – you know how they are frequently placed in many things. Well, I am not sure that I found anything of interest, but I have stopped to ponder about the design on the balloons. What do the letters D P And B mean? Anyone?
Happy 87th Birthday Mickey. Only three more years till your ninetieth. You sure age well!!
