Holidays For Your Home Collection Returns to Disney Parks With New Products

With holiday decorations returning to Disney Parks, I’ve started thinking how I’m going to decorate my place this year. One of my favorite collections introduced last year was the nostalgic Home For Your Holidays collection. This popular line of decorative holiday items included ornaments, pillows, home goods and more. I’m happy to report that many items offered last season, including the fun vintage holiday blub necklace shown above, have returned along with some new options.

The Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park had several items available from this collection including the tree skirt, holiday cards and decorative apron. I also found the new assortment of gift bags that are perfect for gift giving this year.

A doorknob banner is also new this year. One side of the banner states “Joy from the World” with Mickey Mouse, while the other side features Minnie Mouse celebrating from the “Merriest Place on Earth.”

Mickey and Minnie Mouse can be found on a ceramic mug set and in a 3-inch Vinylmation figure set this year. One of the more unique items is a translucent Mickey icon ornament that lights up, illuminating the retro-styled artwork.

I’m looking forward to trying some gourmet cocoa with flavors such as Cinnamon Cookie, Candy Cane and Chocolate S’Mores.

Look for these items and more in select Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort merchandise locations. You may also find select items on the Disney Parks online store under the “Disney’s Days of Christmas” section. Lastly, I invite you to try the free Shop Disney Parks mobile app that gives you access to thousands of products created especially for Disney Parks.

  • Hi Steven,

Do you know if the Star Wars Holiday Droid R2-H15 action figure will be available at Walt Disney World? I will be there in two weeks so would love to be able to purchase it in the parks.

    Thank you.

    • @Sam – Yes. The holiday droid has been released at Tatooine Traders and Watto’s Grotto in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You might also find it at Merchant of Venus in Magic Kingdom Park. Item number is 400009881288.

  • The light bulb necklaces are adorable. With that said, they seem to have a very short life span. While we were at the first Very Merry of the season (11/8), I bought two sets. Before the night was over, each set had to be replaced because lights weren’t working. Now, back home, I’m having the same problem with one of the replacement sets. This seems to be a widespread issue, because the vendor carts actually ran out of lights on 11/8, and this was in part due to people having to return malfunctioning sets for new ones. 🙁

  • Hi Steven!!! Ohmygosh!! Love the bulb necklace! Is it available for order through the merchandizing phone number??? Perfect for Osborn Lights!! Thanks!!!

  • Why doesn’t the Shop Disney Parks App site accept Disney Gift cards??? That would be great:) Thanks:)

    • @Michael – I believe this is something being worked on for a future update.

  • Talking Collections and collectibles – and chance of any new Disney Dollars for the new year? Would love to see some Star Wars ones, and I have heard that they nearly did way back in the beginning and had the plates for them made but were never released …. big puppy dog eyes pleassssssseeeeeeeee

    • @Crystal – Disney Dollars are not something that is developed by Disney Parks Merchandise. Unfortunately, I’ve not heard any update regarding them.

  • We bought a lot from this set last year. We were hoping you would have done Minnie and Tink stocking holders, too… but only Mickey was made.

  • I bought the lights for my son about a month ago. he loves them. I bought the Christmas Lights Mickey ears for me. I was able to window shop at last nights AP party, so I will be dropping some cash this weekend on merchandise. PS – I love the new Holiday Decades collection. Picked up the mug and will pick up the serving plate and hand towels this weekend 🙂

  • Any chance for a new Candlelight Processional CD? (including a separate CD for Disneyland’s version?)

    • @Jonathan – I’d have to ask our media team. I’m not aware of any such plans right now.
