  • Waldyr– Just because Tangled The Musical is on a Disney cruise ship, that does not make it any less of a venue. What does it matter if the Tangled musical is landlocked or not? Both Tangled and Frozen are extremely popular. Disney has made a musical of Tangled, and are working on a musical for Frozen, all due to popular demand from the public. It doesn’t matter what the venue is, what matters is that Disney has acknowledged that both films are popular and are worth making musicals for.

  • I think this could be good, these shows don’t translate too well for broadcast, but I’m sure in person the immersion and sound is always better in the theater. When I heard they were replacing Aladdin with Frozen in California adventure, I thought at if they were going to replace it they should have done tangled, but we know why they went that way. Maximus was really well done. I haven’t read anything else on this, but My thought is that they may exclude Pascal from the show like they did with the Aladdin Musical Spectacular. It is a small (in size) character without any lines, that isn’t essential to the story. I only wish California adventure was getting this instead.

  • Thanks for the opportunity to watch this! What a fantastic show!

  • My little one and her friend enjoyed it! They want to see the rest!

  • BEAUTIFUL. I wonder how they’re dealing with Pascal. Similarly to Pascal on Disney on Ice?

  • Thank you Disney Parks Blog for offering the readers the awesome opportunity to see this sneak peek for Tangled the Musical! I have grown up with the movie, and the clip of the musical definitely lived up to my expectations. It would be so cool if they could bring this musical to one of the Disney Parks, too! The new song fit right in, and I think I’ll have it stuck in my head all day 🙂

  • I loved “When She Returns”, I’m excited to see the entire production of Tangled. Keep up the fabulous work, Magic Crew!!!

  • Had problems with the live stream loading properly and only got to see the very end of the performance. Any chance the performance will be posted for us to watch again???

Also, will there be a CD released with the music from “Tangled the Musical” like how they do with other Broadway shows? It would be lovely to be able to listen to over and over, especially with those 3 new songs from Alan Menken and Glenn Slater.

  • Maximus was great. I was wondering if they were going to do the whole two person horse costume. I was planning to feel bad for the guy in the back :p
