  • I got 4 out of 4 and I haven’t even been there yet. Can not wait to go at the end of Dec.

  • Mike — I don’t know about other places outside of DLR and WDW, but I know that DLR and WDW have to get an early start on putting things up because it’s such an extensive, thorough undertaking. Since the holiday season at DLR begins on 11/13, certain aspects of the decorating process have to begin before Halloween Time ends so that everything can be in place by the start of the season. There’s no way they could wait until after Thanksgiving to get things going, or it would be a very short holiday season in the parks.

Personally, I enjoy a bit of the “holidays colliding” effect as DLR transitions from one season to another. I like to extend the holiday fun as long as possible, so the earlier the trees and wreaths appear, the better! 🙂

  • 4 / 4 correct!

I got the “Santa Claus” ranking, woot!

  • I love Christmas and all. But I don’t get why people feel the need to put the decorations up prior to Halloween? It used to be you didn’t see Christmas stuff until after Thanksgiving. Now the jack-o-lanntern’s are still on the porches when the Christmas stuff goes up. Sadly it’s made Christmas not as special as it once was.

  • I love Christmas Time at Disneyland. It is truly the best time of the year. I am sad that the castle will not be decorated this year, but look forward to the other activities. As a plus, I will be running the 5K on 11/13, so I cannot wait to see the decorations that morning 🙂

  • And if anyone missed naming the Three Caballeros, you have a movie rental you need to get to as soon as possible before you can go back to Epcot’s Gran Fiesta Tour again. 🙂
(Two rentals, if you count Saludos Amigos.)

  • The Holidays are my thing — not only am I a fanatic for the season in general (I’m already watching Christmas movies now!), but I absolutely adore the way Disneyland Resort celebrates. The word “magical” seems to almost be too obvious, but there’s really no other way to describe it.

    So… needless to say… I got 4 out of 4 correct! 😉
