With two dazzling spectaculars, “World of Color – Winter Dreams” and “World of Color – Celebrate!”, showing this holiday season, you may be wondering how best to plan your evening at Disney California Adventure park. Today, I’m here to share two ways to secure your spot for the show of your choice.

Olaf Winter Dreams

Disney FASTPASS: Distribution for Disney FASTPASS for both “World of Color” shows will take place in the current distribution location near Grizzly River Run. Guests will join one queue and indicate their preferred show and time to the cast member at the front of the queue. The cast member will then direct you to the correct Disney FASTPASS machine. If you would like to attend more than one show, you must re-enter the queue to obtain Disney FASTPASS for that show time.

Dining Packages: If you choose to enjoy one of our “World of Color” dining packages, please indicate your preferred show when you make your reservation by calling (714) 781-DINE. Please be sure to select a meal time that is at least two hours before your preferred show time.

  • Erin,
Am I correct in assuming that neither World of Color Fastpass will be “linked”, so that a guest could get both of them and then immediately get a Fastpass for another attraction in Disney California Adventure Park?

  • Excellent news Erin! On behalf of myself and the first-time visitor I’m bringing with me in late January, we’d love to see this same system in place after the holidays to choose between “Celebrate” and “classic” World of Color. I’m not a big fan of the Celebrate version, but the possibility that he may be able to see “classic” World of Color has given me renewed hope! With Fantasmic! out of commission, it makes pretty good sense!

  • I have already made my WOC dining package reservation online, do I need to call and tell them which fast pass I want or can I just tell my server when I am eating at the Carthay Circle?

  • I’d call Disney Dining just so they notate it on your reservation. That way you run into less issues and everyone is aware. Have a fun trip!

  • Amy, I think it has to do with what time your reservation is. We are booked at Carthay Circle for a 5:20pm dinner reservation and my Travel Agent told me we have tickets to World of Color – Celebrate! which is the second showing. I think lunches will probably have World of Color – Winter Dreams

  • I was told by a cast member that you request which show you want when you show up for dinner and that any meal (lunch or dinner) can have any show as long as it’s still available.
