This week, we continued sharing some great holiday stories from Disney Parks, including another behind the scenes look at one of your favorite attractions. The Disneyland Resort Entertainment team has turned the Jungle Cruise in Disneyland park into the Jingle Cruise and we took a special tour to see how they did it.
It takes about two weeks of work to change the Jungle Cruise into the Jingle Cruise for the holidays. For more information, check out Shannon’s original story.

Today is February the 15th and I am writing because I wanted to share the most amazing experience a father could ever wish for and to thank three very special employees for it.
My son turned 2 this 12th of February and we planned a trip to Disney for his birthday. I never expected the surreal impact this experience would inturn have on me.
We had an amazing day as many families due but for one moment at the end of the day as we were about to leave. We were trying to see the parade and my wife had the idea of bringing my son Mason, my son to meet Mickey. Well this moment for me turned out to be one of my BEST MEMORY, EXPERIENCE, JOY, OVERWELMING EMOTION in my life!!!!!
I WANT TO THANK THE TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS / AND SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MICKEY – this I am posting for everyone to hea. This day I marked Saturday February 13th at about 9:26pm I told the representatives/ photographers that this was my son’s birthday and we ran out of batteries and couldn’t even film his first moment of meeting Mickey which he watches EVERYDAY morning, day and night. All phones were dead at this point of the day and we were so upset. These AMAZING photographers captured my best experience I have ever had in my life next to my son’s birth! You always watch these Disney commercial’s of this magical experience well I was that person in that commercial but living the most amazing experience.
THANK YOU because my mom, wife and I cried for hours after that experience because we were so overwelmed with emotion that you had made my son so happy and captured one of the most priceless moments for me.
They not only did they take a picture of my son with Mickey No No No they took pictures from the moment Mickey kneeled on one leg and opened his arms and my son with the most amazing. The look on his face and the joy in this little boy’s face melted everyone’s heart.
His expression I have never seen in my life and for Mickey to do everything to give my son this experience was priceless and they took every moment from beginning to end which will be our most priced possessions and we will never forget what you did for us and mostly for my son. You captured a picture of mr crying which my mom was one of the priceless moments for her. You truly WOW’ed me.
THANK YOU PHOTOGRAPHERS I am so sorry I didn’t catch your names but you know who you are and Mickey you made my son have the best moment of his life and I can never repay you for doing that for him. You are his hero and you inturn you are mine.
