Merry Christmas!

The “Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration” will debut on ABC in just a few minutes, and we hope you’ll join us for a merry look inside our parks during this time of year.

Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration

This year, “Good Morning America’s” Robin Roberts and Jesse Palmer will host a two-hour parade of floats and celebrity performances, including:

  • Jason Derulo, singing “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”
  • Ariana Grande, singing “Zero to Hero” and “Focus”
  • Seal, singing “This Christmas” and “Every Time I’m With You”
  • Tori Kelly, singing “Colors of the Wind” and “Winter Wonderland”
  • Andy Grammer, singing “Good to be Alive” and “Have Yourself a Merry Christmas”
  • Plus appearances by the cast of “Descendants” and more

As for parade floats, keep your eye on the horizon for a Pirates of the Caribbean float, as well as moving tributes to “Inside Out,” “Toy Story,” “Frozen” and even “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

We’ll be tweeting about the parade live on our @DisneyParks account, so follow along or join the conversation with the hashtag #DisneyHolidays.

  • Extremely disappointing that I am less than 10 miles from Magic Kingdom but cannot stream the parade.

  • Hopefully the producers will tape the parade in Disneyland and Walt Disney World next year! I would also LOVE to see performances at each Disney Park! Something in front of Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life, and Mickey’s Fun Wheel!!! Show more than just the castles!

  • I am 54 years old and finally was able to take my kids and grandkids to Disney for the first time 2 years ago. We could not afford to stay at the park but we had a great time. This was the first time my husband and my self and kids were able to go. I hope it does not take 54 more years before we can afford to go again. We would love to be able to stay at the park the next time we go. We loved every minute we got to spend at Disney World in Florida. Thank you to God and Disney for the memories.

  • I missed the show this morning! Is there any way we can watch a rerun online?

  • The Parade has always been recorded, look for the schedule next year.. Late november or early december, in both WDW and disneyland. Check YouTube, you’ll find lots of Christmas Parades!

  • So I noticed the blooper with Kermit mentioned Mr. Toads wild ride and they stayed at animal kingdom lodge. yet mr. Toad closed in 1998 and animal kingdom lodge opened in 2001.Just wondering

  • Why do you called it Disney Parks parade if they just filmed just the Magic Kingdom only? you should of called it the Magic Kingdom parade. Also what happen to Disneyland? it’s Disneyland 60th anniversary for goodness take.

  • It was a fun show, but I too am disappointed that no taping occurred at Disneyland Resort in California. Next year, please do some taping at Disneyland Resort.

  • Very disappointing “parade” this year – as others have stated, no scenes from Disneyland, and, in fact, very little of the parade at all. This was all performances probably to promote the new CD that most of them performed on. I watch the parade every year to get my Disney fix by watching the scenes of the parks and imagining I’m there. This year there was very little to see.

  • Honestly this year’s Christmas Holiday Special, missed the mark this year and I wasn’t too quite profound of the musical peformances unlike last year. Last year had, where it was all around the Parks & Resorts and Cruise Lines and not just focusing on one park in Walt Disney World along.

I didn’t seem to be amused and was ending up fast forwarding the whole thing up till the “Star Wars” segment of the show, because of how badly this year missed the mark. I was only pleased seeing Cpt. Phasma’s debut of the First Order and the whole march of the Stormtroopers and Vader being on for like a whole 2 minutes to be honest.

ABC’s producers should reconsider in doing it like last year, and not be highly disappointed and making it more cohesive and interesting in my opinion.
