Runners are gearing up to put their fairy wings on and fly to the finish line to earn this year’s runDisney Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend bling. The Disney fairies, Peter Pan and the Lost Boys will be there to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the event weekend. Check out these medals inspired by our friends from Pixie Hollow.

In order from left to right, the races are the Never Land 5K, Tinker Bell 10K, the Pixie Dust Challenge (which is completing the 10K & half marathon), the Tinker Bell Half Marathon, the runDisney Kids Races and finally the runDisney Coast to Coast Medal. In order to earn the special edition pink version, you need to complete both the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February at Walt Disney World and the Tinker Bell Half Marathon in May at Disneyland Resort.

Below is the pixie-dusted Tinker Bell Half Marathon medal. There is still a chance to earn yours here, and this is the only race from the event weekend still available.

Will you be joining us in earning any of the weekend’s medals? Let us know at @runDisney on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #TinkHalf. Check out runDisney.com for more information regarding this and upcoming races!

  • Hopefully Tink has some extra special pixie dust to sprinkle on her medals once we have proven ourselves on her course!

  • So disappointed that runDisney did not follow it’s usual pattern of having a completely redesigned Medal for the 5th year. Adding color is nice, but was so looking forward to a new medal.

  • I’ve heard so many remarks about how disappointed people are that runDisney didn’t change the medal design like they usually do on year 5. I’m legacy, I’ll be there to earn my 5th set of wings, but I won’t lie, I was looking forward to a re-design.

  • I still love this medal, it was my first runDisney race so it definitely holds a special place in my heart and it is still the best spinner of the runDisney medals! I really like the coloring on it, really makes it pop for this special 5th race. Can’t wait to race as legacy in May!

    • Congrats on being a legacy! We can’t wait to see you in May!

  • The colors really make this medal! It was already a great design and I think the colors give it a whole new edge. The Princess Half medals haven’t had a drastic re-design either.

    • I agree, Courtney! I think the green accents look fabulous!

  • Will legacy runners get anything special? I heard that for other races, they received an additional ribbon that called out that they were legacy.
