A few weeks ago we asked our fans to choose what we feature next in our series of Disney Parks Blog live streams. The top choice? Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Today, we’re happy to share that we’ll live stream “Fantasmic!” from the park on Tuesday, February 2, starting at 6:50 p.m. EST.

In case you aren’t familiar, Fantasmic! is a 30-minute nighttime extravaganza that features 50 Disney characters and costumed performers, water effects, pyrotechnics and one heck of a finale. The show takes us on a journey into Mickey’s imagination where he envisions wonderful moments from beloved Disney films – but, the dream doesn’t go as planned when Disney villains show up to turn Mickey’s dream “into a nightmare Fantasmic!”

Our live stream will start promptly at 6:50 p.m. EST, but join us early at 6:45 p.m. for a behind-the-scenes look at the show. To watch, simply visit the Disney Parks Blog around 6:45 p.m. on February 2. A fresh blog post containing the live stream feed will be ready and waiting. You can also engage with us by using the hashtag #DisneyParksLIVE on Twitter.

Interested in seeing “Fantasmic!” in person? You can catch the show nightly at the park, and even purchase dining packages that include a meal and reserved seating at the show (learn more about that here).

  • I rushed home from work and there is no link for the stream! AAAHHH!

  • Roxana is right. Great transmission, No delay nor buffering. That is how it should be.

  • Great transmission. It was so wonderful to be able to see it just as if we were there. No delay nor buffering. I miss being at the parks, I am feeling homesick. Planning our next trip right now. See you real soon!

  • My 8 year old son and I watched from Yakima, WA. Thank you for these live streams. We love them. We watched the fireworks on New Year’s which prompted my daughter to request a visit to Disney World for her 21st birthday. Watching with my son today prompted a request for a trip for his 18th birthday. They definitely see it as THE place for celebrations.

We are 129 days from our return to the Kingdom (and 282 days to our very first DCL trip, and 345 days from returning to the Kingdom with about 35 of our closest friends and family)!!!! We *love* Disney’s live stream events!! <3 Crystal and Nic!

  • My better (& responsible) half is out for coffee so my little fella (5) & I are going to stay up a “little” past his bedtime and tune in on the laptop from the comfort of his bed…did I mention that it’s a school night (shh!) 🙂 ~Quispamsis, New Brunswick (Canada)

  • I’m so excited! I’ve been waiting for this all week 😀

  • Looking forward to seeing it over here in Berlin Germany.

  • One good thing coming of our winter storm, we got sent home early otherwise I’d have still been at work during this! 😉

I’d love if there were opportunities to watch again later though if we do miss the live streams.

  • This is amazing! I have to watch Fantasmic! at least twice on every WDW trip and just saw it last week but can’t wait to see it again. Thank you so much for doing this live stream.

  • What a great opportunity. I am looking forward to this and put it on my calendar! Thanks Jennifer for including this in the blog feature!

  • I wonder if my boss will notice? Any chance of a west coast show time as our fantasmic has been taken away?

  • Will this live stream be closed captioned? We watched the NYE show at my house and my grandmother is hard of hearing and she was not able to understand what was going on. Please add closed captioning for future live streams!

  • I cannot wait to watch this. Sooooo excited! Any chance of doing this with other shows? I would love to see this done with Illuminations.

    • We’re trying to do one live stream each month. Stay tuned for more!

  • Will you be uploading the live stream after as a video on YouTube? That’s going to fall at some random time during the early morning here in Australia. We never get Disney stuff, so this is a big special treat for us guys and gals down under!

  • To watch it do we go to Disney Parks Blog or do we have to go to youtube or something — I’ve never watched a live stream before. Thanks.

  • Awesome, I can’t wait.

    • 🙂

  • Any chance for those of us working on the west coast to be able to see a repeat of the stream later that night? Many of us art still at work at 3:50pm pacific time…. Thanks!
