My son is absolutely in love with Disney Infinity, and I have to say that I’m a big fan of surprising him with a new figure or two for holidays, birthdays and good report cards.
Last year, Disney Infinity players were challenged with recreating Disneyland park in the Toy Box (the game’s creation mode). Now, fans have been challenged to take on an even bigger project – building Walt Disney World Resort in the Toy Box.
Toy Box 3.0 allow players to recreate attractions, parade, fireworks spectaculars, and more. As a part of this challenge, players are asked to build each of the Walt Disney World Resort Parks: Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The first phase, Disney’s Hollywood Studios Challenge, was just completed, and the top Toy Boxes are available to download from the game’s “Community Content” section. The Hollywood Studios Toy Boxes include recreations of Toy Story Midway Mania (complete with a leaderboard to compare your score to other players), Tower of Terror, “Fantasmic!” and more. The next task is to build Magic Kingdom Park in the Toy Box. Submissions for this phase are due by Wednesday, March 2 at noon PT.
