Disney Parks Bento Box Magic: Albert the Monkey

We’re continuing our exclusive series of Disney-inspired bento box tutorials and our first how-to video of 2016 features a favorite character from Mystic Manor at Hong Kong Disneyland Park – Albert the Monkey.

Disney Parks Blog reader and fan Mike Kravanis designed his latest bento box during a visit to the China Pavilion in Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort. To create Albert, Mike used a few salmon salad and rice filled inari pouches and added them to a bed of kale. Radishes and olives were also combined to make Albert’s eyes.

And to complete the bento box, tomato and yellow carrots were used to make a lantern. Check out the video for step-by-step instructions.

Also, keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more Disney-inspired bento box tutorials in upcoming weeks.

  • I love these bento tutorials!! OMGiri is such an inspiration, I’ve learned so much from watching these videos and his Instagram posts, I’ve used many of his tips and tricks in making Disney bentos of my own! I’ve posted some to my account I cannot wait to see what cute creation is next in this Bento Box Magic series! 🙂

  • Having seen some videos of HKDL’s Mystery Manor, I’m convinced that “Albert” is the Chinese mispronunciation of “Abu”. There couldn’t be two of them. 🙂

  • Ni Hao Mike. Neih hou lek!
Mixture of Mandarin and Cantonese to say “hello Mike. You are very clever!”
I live in HK and Albert is one of my favourites – you captured him perfectly!
he is very excited to be celebrating Year of the Monkey!
