It is morning. All Park Icons are situated with their back to the North. That is so you can always take a photo of the icon, without the sun ruining your photo. Thus the sun is in the east in this photo.

I’m with Benjamin- why is the sun in the West and everyone is lined up for a parade? And shouldn’t this be higher if this is the top of the castle? Don’t get me wrong; I love the pic!!! It just looks like it was taken on the balcony in the very front of the castle underneath the clock; I’ve always wanted to go on that balcony! I just don’t think this is Tinkerbell’s view 😉
