If you watched Disney•Pixar’s animated feature “Inside Out” in theaters, then you’ve probably seen the beautiful Pixar short film “Lava” shown just before the movie.
Inspired by the isolated beauty of tropical islands and the explosive allure of ocean volcanoes, “Lava” is a musical love story that takes place over millions of years.
The short’s writer/director, James Ford Murphy, along with the two talented vocalists, Kuana Torres Kahele and Napua Greig, performed live together at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, in Hawai`i. To tug at your heartstrings, Disney released the music video on Disney Movies Anywhere.
