Create Personalized Phone Cases with New D-Tech on Demand Options for Spring 2016

With the arrival of spring, I’m excited to share that additional designs are coming to the D-Tech on Demand stations found at Disney Parks. You may recall that D-Tech on Demand is the place where guests can create personalized phone cases for select phones. The D-Tech team recently gave me a first look at additional designs being added in the coming weeks.

D-Tech on Demand in Star Wars Launch Bay is the place to create Star Wars-themed phone cases. The team recently added some of the most popular designs to additional D-Tech on Demand locations at Disney Parks. You can also add your name to your phone design written in Aurebesh, one of the alphabets used in the Star Wars galaxy.

Other designs will include characters from Disney’s animated hit, “Zootopia,” such as Officer Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde or Flash the sloth.

A few weeks ago, I shared details about new salt and pepper shakers that resemble Disney trash cans. Several of these same trash can designs will be available as phone cases.

I adore the Twenty Eight & Main collection at Disney Parks. I was delighted to see the D-Tech team is adding artwork from this collection including art of my favorite Disney attraction, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.

Finally, they will introduce four designs inspired by ABC Television shows which include the daytime drama “General Hospital,” “black-ish,” “Once Upon a Time,” and “Castle.”

At Walt Disney World Resort, D-Tech on Demand is found at the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs Marketplace, Tomorrowland Light & Power Company in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom Park, and Star Wars Launch Bay Cargo at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (the latter location only offers Star Wars-inspired designs).

For guests in California, look for D-Tech on Demand at D-Street in Downtown Disney District. You can also create Star Wars-inspired cases at Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland at Disneyland park.

  • Will you have galaxy note 7 cases available soon?

  • So why always update your tech for iphone only clearly there is a demand for S7, Note 5, Note 6 (soon), come on disney get with the times

  • I’ve been a season pass holder for 3 years now. It is incredibly frustrating to see iPhone cases kept up to date with several options yet the Samsung options fall far behind. Imagine how many more cases you would sell if only you catered to all of your customers. We need cases for the Galaxy Note series and the S7 and S7 Edge.

  • Do you know when you WILL get Samsung Galaxy s7 cases???

  • Hi!! I participated in the star wars marathon in orlando this weekend and wanted to order one of the marathon phone case designs but you don’t make cases for the samsung note 4. Is it possible to have one ordered for my phone?

  • So, I’ve learned at the Tomorrowland D-Tech kiosk, we can also create personalized MagicBands. Is this possible at other D-Tech kiosks in Florida? If so, which ones?

  • Hi!
Is the Tomorrowland trash can case a picture of a Galaxy s7 case???

    • @Kelsey – We currently don’t offer cases for the Samsung Galaxy S7.

  • LOVE these new designs! I really love the Twenty Eight & Main collection particularly. I get a lot of compliments on my “There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” case all the time and think I need to add that Progress City one to my collection.

  • Are there cases available for Samsung Note5? Last time I was in Disney they only had cases for iPhones. Thanks!

    • @Courtney – We offer cases for the following phones: iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6/6+ as well as Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy 4, Samsung Galaxy 5 and Samsung Galaxy 6.

  • This is so cool!! I’m going to WDW for the first time since 2010 and there are so many new things I want to do….. I can see myself taking over an hour trying to decide what to put on my phone case!! LOL!!

  • Hello Steven. I love your merchandise posts! Just a quick question, do you know if the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be an option for phone cases in the coming weeks? Thanks.

    • @Melesia – I’m not aware of any immediate plans for Samsung Galaxy S7 cases.

  • Do you know when I can get a Flash from Zootopia phone case made? I live three hours away from Disneyland want to make sure it’s there when I go 🙂

    • @Stephanie – The Zootopia cases are currently available at the D-Tech on Demand locations. At Disneyland Resort, visit D-Street in Downtown Disney District.

  • Is there any plans for cases for the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge?

    • @Douglas – I’ve not heard plans for the Edge. I know there are cases for the Samsung Galaxy S6.

  • Thanks Steve, I love your ‘unboxing” videos, keep up the good work. Thanks for responding!

  • Thanks Steven!! Any word on when a D-Tech on Demand will open in Epcot? I’m waiting for a Figment/Dreamfinder option.

    • @Stephen – I’m not aware of any immediate plans.

  • What are the EVENING HOURS for the Market Place? I can’t see leaving ANIMAL KINGDOM early just to get a personalized phone case made. PLEASE advise.

    • @Keith – Hours are typically 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. but may vary. Your best option to confirm hours is to visit –
