Renowned baseball player Miguel Cabrera recently visited Walt Disney World Resort with his familia to have some well-deserved fun before starting Spring Training and his photo shoot for ESPN Magazine.

Donning a Mickey Mouse shirt, the Venezuelan athlete enjoyed attractions at our theme parks like Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Goofy’s Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom Park, among many others.

Miguel Cabrera plays at Walt Disney World Resort like an All-Star!

The Detroit Tigers’ first base fielder had his multi-generational family with him during his time at Disney that included meeting Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Gaston and many other Disney characters.

Here’s a backstage look at Miguel’s visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

  • We just happen to be at Animal Kingdom the day he was there and my Mom is an avid Detroit Tigers and Miguel Cabrera fan! When we happen to see him she was so excited, started to jump up and down like a teenaged girl seeing the Beatles for the first time, and screamed down to him “Can I get a picture with you?” He graciously waved her down to where he was at and truly made such a magical memory for her! He didn’t have to do it, but he did and for that I am thankful! She is the lady in in the video looking shocked and saying “Miguel Cabrera”! It is a moment she will NEVER forget! Thanks Miggy and GO TIGERS!!!!

  • Go Tigers!!!
Glad Miggy and his family had a chance for some fun during Spring Training, Lakeland is not that far away from the Magic Kingdom.
Disney + Tigers – two of may favorite things! 🙂
Looking forward to opening day here at home for the Detroit Tigers!!! Can’t wait to bring back the boys of summer and say goodbye to winter.

  • Why couldn’t I have planned my trip for 2 months later that I went?!?!? My favourite team, and player at my favourite place on the planet!

  • Go Tigers!
