We’re happy to welcome Entertainment’s Michael Jung and Mark Renfrow to today’s #DisneyParksLIVE Chat on “Rivers of Light.” The chat will begin at 1:15 p.m. EST.
To give some background, “Rivers of Light” will be Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s first-ever night-time show and will be an experience unlike anything ever seen in a Disney Park. The show will combine live performances and floating lanterns with water screens, swirling animal imagery and more. Michael and Mark are part of the Entertainment team that has worked on the project for more than two years and will be happy to answer your questions on what it’s like to build a show for a Disney Park, “Rivers of Light” theming, music, animal-inspired elements and much more.

We don’t have any info on openings or previews earlier than the April 22 date.

I think you guys need to work on your live chats. It’s very robotic and scripted. No feeling or excitement.
When will fastpass be available for Rivers of Light. How late will the park be open? Is there going to be a dining package? How many shows will there be 1 or 2? What time will show or shows start?
When will I be able to get a reservation for the preshow? I will be leaving on April 23 to come home, so I have also been looking for a date that I can fast pass the show do you know when fast pass will be available?
Will the park hours be changing due to the new night time shows? Trip is booked for May and want to plan out the days accordingly!
