Our friends at Star Wars agree the runDisney Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side medals are most impressive! Our inaugural race weekend kicks off April 14 – 17, 2016 at Walt Disney World Resort. Participants will run on Darth Vader’s turf with the Emperor’s white uniformed stormtroopers making sure you stay on course in order to earn these medals.
The Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side medal includes a dual-sided spinner featuring the Emperor on one side and Darth Vader on the other.

Runners who finish the Star Wars Dark Side Challenge will receive a Death Star-themed medal. That is, participating in the Star Wars 10K on Saturday, April 16 and Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side on Sunday, April 17.

Saw them months ago, but would love to see the courses and merchandise ?
I remember seeing these on the runDisney Facebook page. We were quite happy with them. 🙂 So excited for our first runDisney event, but eagerly awaiting news on the course and merchandise. We’re getting so close!!

So excited! Running the challenge with both of my daughters! So sad I won’t be getting the Kessel Run medal though. We did the inaugural challenge in CA last year though. Can’t wait for the merchandise! Love RunDisney (so much so, I’m going to run in Paris in Sept!) and all that they do!
@Aubrey, I completed the Star Wars Light Side Half last January. I’ll be in Orlando next for the Dark Side Half in order to get the Kessel Run Medal. Will participants also get the Coast-to-Coast medal?
