Premium Experiences Coming for Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort

In just one month, Disney California Adventure park will be transforming for the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, taking place weekends during the month of April. Soon, I’ll be serving up menu details for the Festival Marketplaces — each with its own unique selection of food and beverages — but today, I’ve got the scoop on chef demonstrations, seminars, celebrity chef appearances and more.

Culinary Demonstrations featuring some of the best chefs in the industry, including some of your favorites from the Disneyland Resort, will take place on the Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land. Don’t miss your chance to learn a new technique during these 30-minute complimentary presentations. Seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early.

Conducted in the relaxing setting of the Sonoma Terrace at the Golden Vine Winery, Beverage Seminars are fun and informative; sure to quench your thirst for knowledge about wine, beer and spirits. The 45-minute seminars include up to 3 tastings. Cost is $15 per person plus tax.

Stage 17 in Hollywood Land will be host to the Celebrity Kitchen. See some of the biggest names of the culinary world, including superstar chefs Guy Fieri, Graham Elliot, Claudia Sandoval, Keegan Gerhard, Robert Irvine and Disneyland Resort Executive Chef Andrew Sutton, as they share tips, treasured recipes and behind-the-scenes-stories while they show you how to create their personal favorite dishes. An autograph signing will follow each chef appearance. Cost is $99 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Special Tip: Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders have the opportunity to enjoy a special Celebrity Kitchen VIP Experience, which includes premium seating, priority access for the autograph session, plus a special gift. Cost is $149 plus tax and gratuity.

Beyond the Kitchen: Lifestyle Seminars celebrate springtime in beautiful California. Held in Hollywood Land, these seminars are an opportunity to learn more about exciting topics including gardening, horticulture and health & wellness.

  • Love the Hidden Mickey in the photo – the way the wine glasses are arranged. Well done!

  • Disney Dining couldn’t make the VIP Reservations this morning after 40 mins on hold with them. They didn’t even know about it until I called to make mine and I now have to call back since their computer system wasn’t updated correctly. Hoping to get the one we want when it starts working.

  • Please oh please dont make the non-celebrity chef culinary demos first come – first serve… I want to be able to plan my trip and make the most out of it so there should be a way to register for the events before.

  • Ah… so this explains the Mad Tea Party stuff leaving… still curious what it will be after Food & Wine Fest?

  • I wanted to book a beverage seminar on May 1 but it only let me go from March to April in the calendar for the times shown. Will they fix it so that I can pick May 1?

    • Hi Kristen, it didn’t work for you yesterday as reservations open 60 days in advance. Beverage Seminars taking place on May 1 are bookable today!

  • Is it curious that I noticed the Hidden Mickey before I even noticed that they were three glasses of wine?

  • Will there be an Event similar to the Taste Event they had the last year before the event ended?
    How about Winemaker Dinners?

  • I write a Disney Blog and a Wine Blog so I was totally looking forward to the Food and Wine Festivals return when it was announced a couple weeks back. I was just waiting for the announcements of what would be happening this year……I just saw this post today and it looks like everything I was interested in is already not available…….Even the Celebrity Kitchen events at $99 a person……I guess be blogging about how difficult it is to even reserve a seat. Really makes me miss the old Food and Wine events when you just lined up and got in….Wow shocked to see everything gone so quickly…Hope there is more stuff happening that maybe I can be quick enough to book
