Sometimes, I get home from a day of work as a Walt Disney World Publicist and my tween daughter is in awe of my responsibilities. I had one of those amazing days recently. As an avid Disney Channel and Disney XD viewer, my daughter adores the show Lab Rats: Elite Force. So when I told her I chatted with three of the stars about their favorite things to do when they visit Walt Disney World Resort, she literally squealed with delight!
Now I will share with you what they told me! It could help you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation with YOUR older child.
I caught up with Jake Short, William Brent and Kelli Berglund after they posed with fellow Lab Rats, Bradley Steven Perry and Paris Berelc, in a photo at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that reflects their love of all things Star Wars.
Jake says when he comes to Walt Disney World Resort, he visits all the new Star Wars experiences at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including Star Tours –The Adventures Continue. When not hanging out with the First Order stormtroopers, Jake can be found riding his all-time favorite roller coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Then, he grabs a Cobb Salad at The Hollywood Brown Derby before leaving the theme park to experience the great shopping and lively entertainment that Disney Springs has to offer at night.
William also loves Star Wars and the new Star Wars Launch Bay … but he’s a big Indiana Jones fan, too! His favorite show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular followed by dinner at 50’s Prime Time Café, where he says the food is “tasty” and the waitresses are “cool.” He caps off his perfect Disney day with a visit to Magic Kingdom Park to watch the fireworks light up the sky during “Wishes” nighttime spectacular.
Kelli told me she tries to hit all four theme parks in one day when she visits Walt Disney World Resort! She heads straight for the thrill rides, including the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. She adores all Disney characters and always sets aside some time to meet her favorite Disney Princess, Ariel. This, she has in common with my daughter!
