When my good friend and fellow Disney Parks Blog author Rachel Bshero shared the news about the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival taking place weekends in April, I couldn’t have been more excited! I knew at that point exactly what I needed to do — dig deep and get all the details on the commemorative merchandise set to debut from our talented team of merchandisers. Here’s a look at some of this year’s selections, which are surely a recipe for success!

Look for themed apparel including an adult tee, women’s tee and one created specifically for our Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders.

Tip: The specially created tee will only be available in-park at Studio Store located in Hollywood Land. Passholders must present a valid Disneyland Resort Annual Passport and government-issued photo I.D. at time of purchase.

Also available will be a commemorative baseball cap and kitchen accessories that include an apron and dish towel set.

Is that it? Not quite. Debuting along with this collection is a stemmed wine glass as well as an appetizer plate, which is perfect to carry some of the Festival Marketplace offerings and savory cuisines and creations produced right here in the Golden State.

So be sure to add some flavor to your collection this year! These items and more will be available at select locations throughout Disney California Adventure park, including Studio Store located in Hollywood Land and Trolley Treats located on Buena Vista Street.

Be sure to keep an eye out for special appearances and signings by some of our Disney-inspired artists.

And Rachel – I promise to take you shopping, if you will allow me to join you for a taste of some of the amazing offerings that will be available this year!

  • Imagine the selection of merchandise they have now is all they’re going to have? It seems so limited and different than the 2010 festival. Was hoping to find another wonderful men’s Food and Wine Festival aloha shirt for my husband and another terrific chef’s apron for myself? Guess that won’t happen. So sad? Guess we’ll just have to console ourselves with the food and wine part? lol

  • Oops! Sorry for the misspelled name, Michelle!

  • Thanks for sharing this Michele. I’m so excited about this festival. I can’t wait to try the food and of course buy some merchandise!

  • The first weekend seemed like it was so successful! I was there for seminars, demonstrations, the food and the fun- and it was such a blast! Very reminiscent of the Food and Wine Festival in 2010. I hope it’s incredibly successful all month so that it can grow and get better in subsequent years. I love the merchandise selection for this festival, and I do hope more is on the way- either for this month or for future festivals. Thank you so much, Disney, for bringing this back to DCA!!! I am one very happy girl. 🙂

    • I’m so glad Jessica!

  • Is this going to become an annual event like at Epcot? I hope so, I was at the last one they had about 5-6 years ago or so… it was cool!

    • We’re so excited for the return of the Festival too. I hope you enjoy it this year!

  • How do we get a button?

  • Was there any plans for a pin? I received the free button for AP holders, but was hoping to pick up something that marked the actual festival? I did almost buy a shirt though. It was a beautiful purple color.

    • Hi Liz! No plans for a pin this time. But if that should change I will keep you posted.

  • Hasn’t the Studio Store been changed to Traveling Oaken’s shop? Or did it change back?

    • Hi Fay! The Studio Store recently changed back from Traveling Oaken’s. They have some fantastic product offerings out there. On your next visit be sure to take a look.

  • …I think the confusion comes from the fact that in this post, Studio Store links to the WDW location.

    • Thanks for the head’s up Fred. We’ll try to get that fixed.

  • @Suzanna–I don’t know about WDW, but there is indeed Studio Store at California Adventure in Hollywood Land.

  • Isn’t Studio Store at Disney World?

  • The appetizer plate is one of the best inventions ever. Unfortunately, this version of the plate is only useful for stemmed glasses and not very useful for cups (beer). The WDW appetizer plates were more multi-purposed and useful for everything.

    • That’s great insight April! Thanks for the feedback! I’ll be sure to share it with the merchandise team.
