Sounds Like Summer Concert Series Sizzles at Epcot June 5 – July 23

Three new acts will join the Sounds Like Summer concert series as some of the world’s best tribute bands rock World Showcase in a few months at Epcot.

Bands paying tribute to the music of Fleetwood Mac, Tina Turner and Bruce Springsteen are new in 2016. Don’t Look Back – A Tribute to Boston kicks off the seven week series starting June 5.

Here’s a look at the lineup: (entertainment and times are subject to change)

  • June 5-11: Don’t Look Back – A Tribute to Boston
  • June 12-18: Hotel California – A Salute to the Eagles
  • June 19-24: Rumours – A Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band
  • June 25-July 1: Simply Tina – A Tribute to Tina Turner
  • July 2-9: Stayin’ Alive – A Tribute to the Bee Gees
  • July 10-16: Bruce in the USA – A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen
  • July 17-23: DSB – A Tribute to Journey

Performances are included with regular Epcot admission. Show times are: 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. daily. Who will I catch you singing along to?

  • Please bring back 2U next year! They’re always amazing, and I’d go to Epcot just to see them.

  • I saw Rumours (Fleetwood Mac Tribute) at House of Blues in Downtown Disney and made sure to see them again this past weekend at Cox Capitol Theater in Macon GA. No surprise that it was a sold out show. This band absolutely rocks, and brings an energy and a connection to the audience that even the real Fleetwood Mac can’t pull off in huge arenas. We have family in Florida that plan to head to Orlando to see them during this concert series. I’m planning to go again, too.

  • I heard Rumours at House of Blues the last time they were in Orlando and again when they were in Atlanta, their home base. They are simply amazing. If you’re even a casual Fleetwood Mac fan, you’ll love them. Cheers to Disney for putting this event together.

  • Disappointed not to see 2U on the schedule this year. That was our favorite summer EPCOT tradition.

  • While I’m sure these bands are very good, this seems to me that they will no longer get the actual artists at these events. If only there were a way to see cover/tribute bands locally…

  • Fleetwood Mac tribute band?! Just read a review that said this might be the best tribute band to anyone out there and they are endorsed by Mick Fleetwood. Very excited!
