In my last Disney Parks Blog post, I shared how a new Disney-sponsored KaBOOM! playground was built earlier this month at Lincoln Park in Anaheim, California. Today, I am excited to share that the Disneyland Resort is creating more magic in Anaheim parks with a $500,000 donation to the Anaheim Community Foundation!

The donation will be used to add skate parks at Schweitzer and Palm Lane Parks, as well as a pickleball court and softball field refurbishment with a soccer field overlay at Twila Reid Park. Schweitzer and Twila Reid Parks already gained Disney-sponsored KaBOOM! playgrounds that will bring years of enjoyment to the community.

The Disneyland Resort is committed to enriching the lives of children and families through shared experiences including play, and local parks are a great place for families to have fun together. Over the last five years, the Disneyland Resort has built seven KaBOOM! playgrounds in Anaheim, serving nearly 10,000 Anaheim children, and we donated 60 trees to Anaheim parks this spring to help make them more shady and beautiful!
