As we’re sure a certain climate-confused snowman would agree, everything’s better in summer – and this summer is no exception. So get ready for a remarkably frosty season as Disney Parks and Resorts on both coasts usher in brand new “Frozen” experiences at Disney California Adventure park and Epcot!
“For the first time in forever‚” Members can find themselves right in the middle of Arendelle as they climb a Norwegian vessel and set sail for the winter wonderland of “Frozen”! Located in the Norwegian Pavilion at Epcot, this new attraction, Frozen Ever After, is scheduled to open this June and will bring “Frozen” favorites to life as guests celebrate a very special “summer snow day” alongside Queen Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and friends.
While Members will undoubtedly miss the venue’s previous classic attraction, Maelstrom, this new attraction may just leave you with “Frozen Fever” when you experience this cinematic hit in a whole new way. (Fair warning: it’s quite possible you’ll be singing “let it go” in your sleep.)
And don’t miss your chance to meet the royal sisters in person! During your next visit to Epcot, be sure to stop by the Royal Sommerhus (also located in the Norwegian Pavilion) where Members can hold court with Princess Anna and Queen Elsa themselves!
Disney California Adventure Park Experience
Members heading to California can also enjoy their fair share of “Frozen Fever,” as the newest show at Disney California Adventure park brings the story of Frozen to life with the new stage musical “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion.” Scheduled to open May 27, Members can expect an emotional journey complete with quality talent, elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects and show-stopping production numbers.
So whether you’re next visit home brings you to the East or West Coast, plan on packing a few extra layers so you can sing along to your favorite songs with a snowman who likes warm hugs and his royal friends!
