Disney Magic cruisers were blown away with an amazing performance by Alton Fitzgerald White, a talented singer, actor and dancer who has starred in six Broadway hits and holds the title of longest running Mufasa in “The Lion King” on Broadway (4,308 performances!) White is also known for originating the role of the iconic character in the first touring production.
On one special night during our first-ever British Isles voyage, White’s rich voice filled the Walt Disney Theatre. His performance of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from “The Lion King” was one Disney cruisers will not soon forget! Following White’s performance, cruisers had the exclusive chance to ask him questions and get his autograph.
White performed aboard the Disney Magic as part of our Stars Set Sail live concert series presented by Disney Theatrical Group. Keep checking back as I raise the curtain on more Broadway stars sailing the high seas with us this summer.
