When it comes to celebrating the red, white and blue in Southern California, nothing comes close to the festivities in Huntington Beach, and the highlight of the celebration is the Huntington Beach annual Fourth of July parade. This year marked the 112th anniversary of the patriotic procession, and thousands of people lined the streets of “Surf City USA” to view the bands, floats and military participants. We’re proud that Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were chosen to serve as the co-grand marshals, accompanied by Disneyland Resort Ambassador Allie Kawamoto. Befitting their status, they were pulled in an antique vis-à-vis carriage by Disneyland Resort horses Reggie and Brother, marking the first time our Circle D horses have participated in this popular local tradition. Take a look at the video to see our steadfast equine team in action.
